  2. While it's tragic that Mike's condition prematurely ended his wrestling career, let's keep in mind that it was caught before a life-altering injury occurred and let's be glad we're not discussing a paralyzed wrestler but rather a shortened career.
  3. Thanks Joe. I wasn't sure if you had gotten incomplete brackets or if something was afoot.
  4. Is there a reason that in some brackets there's no one on line #1 for the top seed? Also, I noticed Braden Atwood wasn't entered in the brackets that are up. Is this a mistake or is there more to the story?
  5. I talked to Coach Read of Plymouth last night at our match and he didn't indicate what happens in the event of a points tie. The NLC doesn't even have a seeding meeting due to this system and one of the conference (I think he said it was Northwood's) ADs handles the bracketing. Coach Read did not seem to be a big fan of this system and pointed out times in the past (see Carr brothers Wawassee) when the top seed would lose first round because of this system as I guess the Carrs would get moved around in weight classes and thusly wouldn't have enough points to qualify for a seed and would draw the #1 guy.

  7. Please spell check. It should be "their", then no period, and then "their" again. And I believe it's "boogie" man, not buogie man.
  8. On becoming the program leader of wins in a career with 106 and counting. Your old HS coach is proud of you.

  10. If that person has chosen the user name "manvswild."
  11. Glenn will have a rough day, so if you're in attendence, please try to keep their coach away from sharp objects.
  12. Is Rensselaer still single elimination as it used to be? That would be the one negative attribute to this tournament.

  20. So are you saying my squad should get out of the "Hostess Super Dual" and the "Dunkin' Donuts Classic Tournament?"
  21. I have had this discussion with our swimming coaches many times. I tell them that when they have to body-fat test and adhere to weight classes to compete in swimming then we can talk. Usually shuts them up.
  22. I was going to be funny and say one that's been overcooked to the consistency of shoe leather. But you guys seem serious.

  24. You grossly underestimate yourself Karl. You could've been the Andre the Giant of midget wrestling had you chosen that career path.
