Last year's match between Yorktown and Bellmont was the most exciting match I have ever witnessed live! It sure seems like Yorktown will win this year, but I thought the same thing last year. I predict Yorktown will pull off the win, but I see it being somewhat close (5-10 points).

Darin Fiechter-130 pounds (Southern Wells)

I'm not sure what happened with Novy...his injury must have happened in his first round match (10-6 win over Kyle King). He didn't wrestle after that match. As far as Getts goes, he got hurt during his match with Jim West from SA. It looked as though he hurt his knee. I don't know how serious their injuries are...I sure hope they can get healed up for Sectionals!

So how did the match between Howe and Young end up?

Good question...I am thinking Norton would probably be picked to win by 3-5 points. I know Norton has wrestled Cody Zink this year and beat him 7-4 (I think)...but I'm unsure of other tough wrestlers he has faced. I'm going with Faurote for this tournament...I say he pulls off the upset, 6-5!

Benjamin lost 5-3 to Nelson of West Noble...Darin was beaten by Zink 6-4...he has been wrestling primarily 135, but is headed down to 130 soon...and plans to remain there.

I was only able to watch a couple of his matches yesterday, but Stahl (145) from Elkhart Memorial looked impressive on top.

Wow...crazy. Being that Austin is a #1 seed, does everyone who comes from that regional move up a seed...with the alternate taking the #4 spot???

I haven't been to a ton of dual matches, but I will say the Bellmont/Yorktown match tonight was the best I have ever seen live! The gym was rocking!

Quick Question: Which sectionals feed into regionals who are a part of the Ft. Wayne Semi-State?

Thanks for all the time and effort you put into these rankings. I know I have spent a lot of time looking through the rankings...getting familiar with the names of a lot of guys I plan on seeing at state. Also, the key wins/losses is a great idea. This will surely help me in the pickem's contests (hopefully)!!!! Thanks again!
