    While I do believe that Cross Country helps kids get into better shape, the mental grind of running cross country is very underrated. The competition and grind of that 3.1 miles really begins to prepare an individual for wrestling, as long as they take it serious.

    I'm glad that its all on one day!! So there is still a possibility of securing Worthern Arena? Having 3 mats down for the finals would look pretty awesome in there, with an abundance of seating.

    So this is legit?? All 3 classes on the same day? Will this be in two gyms or just in Worthern Arena? I know that the Intramural/Irving Gym is attached to Worthern, I didn't know if it (Irving) would be used, and the tournament would be run similar to the one at Westfield (with the smaller classes starting the day off in Irving and then the winner's bracket for all classes moving to Worthern as the day progresses)

    I have heard rumors........and don't quote me on this, that we are not wrestling it in the Pepsi Coliseum, nor the Memorial Coliseum, but the Roman Colosseum!!!! Obviously not a centralized location, but there is a solid amount of seating.

    Is the main reason for not going with the Memorial Coliseum in Fort Wayne or the Ford Center in Evansville, that they are not centrally located?

    I completely agree. It seems like this move is a step backwards.

    I think that this is a great quote. I believe that the majority of people on this board truly care about wrestling. Individuals are suggesting or complaining about portions of the system, because we would like to see the selection and the tournament improve, but often times we forget to commend the efforts of those that are trying. Given the circumstances, the IHSWCA got off to a solid start in my opinion. The expansion to 12 teams is another solid step. The final step should be to eliminate the math involved and have an all in system......hopefully that is the direction the IHSWCA is headed.
