  1. Didn't Mishawaka lose about the same as Crown Point ? The Cavemen lost 3 studs from 130-140 , add in 152,171 and 189 and the losses are about the same . Having Stahl will help alot , but they still have holes to fill . Both teams do have about the same number of holes to fill, but the difference is Mishawaka has a better feeder program and coaching than Cp.

  3. Would have to be CP until someone beats them .
  4. Wouldn't Corpe be a better practice partner than anyone in Mishawaka's room? Here is a quote from a Mishawaka fan on the Gridiron Digest football forum . It will be unlikely that will happen, especially when Corpe's dad is in the process of buying a house in the Mishawaka district and plans on transferring to Mishawaka so he can win a team state title. At least that was the rumor going around the Mishawaka stands tonight. (Maybe I am mistaken - perhaps he was transferring to Washington?????)
  5. Well fab , when Penn starts beating Mishawaka consistantly (we all know it's coming) ,and studs around the area start transferring to Penn . We will see if you still sing the same song .
  6. Your kidding right ? Penn made it to Team State in 96,97 and 98 . I think Penn owned Mishawaka for much of the 90's . Penn is in most years a top 5-10 team . The last couple years have been a struggle . The cupboard was bare when Harper took over , due in large part to tranfers , and kids not sticking with the program . That all is changing rapidly , just look at the size of the Penn wrestling club .
  7. NO , When Mishawaka shut out Penn 2 years ago , using 4 former Penn wrestlers , Penn couldn't claim victory . It will be nice when the day comes that the Cavemen have to rely on only their homegrown wrestlers .
  8. Penn would of gave Mishawaka a good match this year probably losing by 10-15 . But with the addition of Stahl that number could be 15-20 . Next year is a different story. I say that Penn beats the Cavemen in 2011,providing that Mishawaka doesn't get a bunch of stud tranfers(like they seem to always get).
  9. So is Stahl at Mishawaka ?
  10. Would not surprise me to see Corpe there as well . Nothing surprises me anymore.
  11. Congrats Steven , a very well deserved award .
  12. DAY 1 Penn Xtreme Gold - 38 Ohio Firebirds - 25 Penn Xtreme Gold - 48 Naperville Phoenix- 18 Penn Xtreme Gold - 45 Oregon Clay(OH) - 18 Penn Xtreme Gold - 62 North Carolina Warriors - 12 DAY 2 Penn Xtreme Gold -65 Charlotte Florida - 6 DAY 3 Penn Xtreme Gold - 57 Lake Central OH - 18
  13. Congrats to Steven Sandefer on a great High School career . He made it to the state finals all 4 years of high school , placing 5th , 1st and 1st . Could not have happened to a better young man . Can't wait to see you wrestle in college .
  14. I don't know about better , but Ayersman from Lake Central is pretty good .
  15. I'm sure Mishawaka is focused on Cathedral only .
  16. Mishawaka was without Sandefer @140 and Smith @ 171 . I would give Both These matches to the Cavemen had they wrestled . So take away 7 points from Memorial and give 6 to Mishawaka , and you have 42-15 . There were only 2 close matches in Mishawaka's favor , 125 and 189 . Judging by your theory , 103 could've gone either way as well . Bottom line ,had Mishawaka wrestles with a full lineup , nobody's even talking about this match .
  17. If Trenton does beat Mersich , Maybe Mersich should jump up and Challenge White at 145 .
  18. I was waiting to comment until after I heard the great news from a reliable source . Just got off the phone with Ben Reinoehl and couldn't be happier for their family . The facts were presented and the ruling was in favor of the Reinoehl's . I think we should all just drop this subject and let Trenton get on with the rest of his Senior season . It's going to be fun because I expect Trenton to be wrestling with a HUGE chip on his shoulder . I have been one of Trenton's biggest fans since he was in middle school , and I look forward to watching him at Conseco .
