I follow Winchester along with most East Central Teams!! I don't think Winchester will give them a fight at all. I think Yorktown wins the meet by a landslide of a score-- 63-3.

If there was a matchup of Mishawaka and Merrillville tonight...WHO would win. I have wanted to see those two schools wrestle each other. I think there would be some FIREWORKS if there happened to be a Mish and Merri dual meet.

decbell--What teams in the TOP 20 have you seen in person? As of right now who do you think the FINAL 4 teams in the state tourney will be?

Bellmont will be a favorite. Their lineup changes from the start to right now have made a difference in this teams actions and chemistry. South Adams and AC are very tough as well. I think some of the matchups during this sectional will give the coaches, wrestlers and fans a day filled with excitment.

I never questioned your rankings or never WOULD I! I just wanted a clarification of the spots they were ranked at, not only for me, but for all the others on the board. Thanks and appreciation goes out for all that you do.

I'm tired of hearing about how Yorktown wrestled their JV. You PLAY to win the game and you WRESTLE to win the match. If you are cocky enough and think you have the JV guys to beat a team, that's your fault when it doesn't happen. SB Clay won, fair and square. If they don't surpass Yorktown in the rankings that's fine, but why such a big margin between the two teams? Just wondering why you have picked them at the 19th spot? and YORKTOWN at the 6th?

I would agree. The rankings guys for team and individuals always say that it doesn't matter about last week or last year. What matters is this year and what just happened. I think Clay deserves the credit.

I would like to see a Bellmont vs Yorktwon rematch!! I think Bellmont would put up a DIFFERENT score this time. Merriville still is my pick to win the whole STATE this year. I just like how they look and the kinds of things they are doing on the mat.

Union County looked like the MUCH stronger and better team. Winchester only scored that many points because of FF's. Union County will run away with the TEC championship this year easily. Phillips and Duckworth looked amazing last night. I am forseeing Union County with 5 TEC champions and Winchester with 1 champion (maybe)

I just read yesterday that Union County and Winchester wrestle on Thursday night. Is that correct? If so, is it at Union County or Winchester this year? What's the predicted lineups and matchups for this meet and who's going to win??

I'm tried of hearing everyone talk about JV guys this and JV guys that. If they wrestled on that day for the varsity squad then they are considered varsity. IF YORKTOWN wrestled "jv" guys, then that was their choice. They weren't forced to wrestle those guys against Clay. IF CLAY wrestled "jv" gusy, that was their decision. Therefore, CLAY beat Yorktown and that is that. I will say that Merriville does look and sound tough this year. We'll see what kind of run they can make during the tourney.

Just saying that I thought this board was promoting respect for OTHERS and trying to keep away from "degrading" (even though that may not be the word you want to use) others and this sport. I was just making a point. I think when someone ask a question, whether it is STUPID or unwise, or off the wall it deserves either a good ANSWER or no answer, but not a bunch of FLUFF!!!

FF are killers. But I think Muncie Central looked tough last night. They have about 4 or 5 tough wrestlers and will improve over the next few months.

Aren't you guys all just FULL of JOKES and JOKES and JOKES! They just asked an honest question, but you all took it upon yourselves to MAKE fun of the man. I thought this board was FOCUSED on making others comfortable and not degrading individuals. But somehow you all poke fun and make comments that aren't relevant to the situation. Central 111...we used to jump rope, run a few, and wrestle live. Technique was very important.

Well I will say Union County looked tough as nails against Richmond. I think they are the favorite in the TEC now. Does anyone know Duck's plans on staying at 215 or dropping to 189? Is phillips planning on staying at 119? I know that winchester and tri wrestle tonight in a triple dual either at anderson or tri, not for sure.

So what does Union County's lineup look like for the rest of the year? Does anyone know exactly where Duck will be come conference? I think Tri has an opportunity to give Winchester a scare on Thursday night. I'd like to go, but won't be able too. Will someone post the results on here after the meet? What does muncie central and anderson look like this year, coach 123? What all teams are at the Lincoln invite, will Centerville be the favorite at that meet?

Union County seems to be the most solid team up to this point. Winchester looked to be very young. Centerville will be a good team come tourney time, they have about 4 quality wrestlers if not 5. After seeing Union County, Winchester, Centerville, Union City I would venture to say that Union County is the best team. 1. Union County 2. Winchester 3. Centerville 4. Tri 5. Union City 6. Northeastern 7. Lincoln 8. Hagerstown

Who knows. This could be wide open. Centerville I heard had some good ones coming back and good ones coming in. Union County is probably the favorite, just because of the lone loss they had. Winchester is coming off two TEC titles. So its hard to say they don't have a shot, even though they LOST a ton. Other than those three schools, I would say no one else is in it right now. That could change though after the first couple weeks and we see who teams actually have and where their at.

HECK NO...think about who the kid beat too. 152lbs. HE beat Quinn Kurtz...who is extremly tough...by a score of 9-2. DOMINATION HE beat Stein who was tough....by inj. default. HE beat Estrada, who has a great wrestling background and is very good...11-5. And then got defeated in a very very tough and CLOSE match 11-5. This kid has to get a lot of credit though being a FRESHMAN at 152. FINISHING 2nd at state and doing the THINGS he did to get there.

Tough To believe that Ryan Stahl didn't make the cut. What about Anthony Quiroz? Did he not make any heads turn after what HE DID at the State Finals? This kid is on fire and can only GROW as a wrestler from here! Christian Lentz is a kid that probably didn't make the list because he is a 215/HWT guy. But he is still a very skilled wrestler and pound for pound can MOVE very well. And one more just for the list...DUSTY KIEF? Again this kid had a great showing last year at the state finals, and it wasn't LUCK. He defeated a lot of good guys and should get some credit.

Congrats Duck. Good luck this year, you have a great chance to make BIG noise. Go Get "em and best of luck to your counterpart Phillips. Good choice of a good wrestling school and you'll be very successful there as well. Stay healthy and do BIG things. Good Luck with your future.

I would say Warren Central is impressive. But I still believe that Mater Dei is the most impressive. Any sport that competes in a NO CLASS system and wins that much and has the success of individuals they have had is MUCH MUCH MORE IMPRESSIVE. Class systems are great and all, but when your team can compete at that level of success for so long in a no class system and put up the numbers of team titles and individual titles that they have, that is not even close to winning a few in a classed sport.
