Wow Merrillville must have come to wrestle. I think the dual is going to be a whole different story at regionals, with Berry in the lineup and Tsirtsis not able to bump up to 160. Merr. could win 152, 160, 170, 182 and pin at 195. Could be really interesting. I think 120, 152 and 132 are the 3 key matches who every wins 2 out of 3 will be going to team state.

Or anybody there think they might know the approximate time of the finals? Will the be webcasted? Thanks.

Fuqua seemed to be injured a lot last year too. Not sure if it is injury or what, but I would guess it is. Anybody have an approximate time for the finals? Thanks

Jackson is tough to score on that is for sure he would probably wrestle a little more defensive in that match, but still Tsirtsis with 3 or 4 takedowns and if Jackson gets aggressive maybe some back points. Tsirtsis 10-2 if they wrestled at 145. If they wrestled each other often like Alex Tsirtsis and Wesley English did I think it would be closer each time but Tsirtsis still always in control and wins 7-3, 6-2 scores. They may meet up in college in a year or two?? I think Jackson is going to be very good in college and really improve. Tsirtsis is going to be solid as well and will AA many years if he stays healthy. Hope they both redshirt and get that college experience.

I too think Stevenson vs. Harvey at 160 in the finals. Can someone post the two lineups for this dual? Thanks I think Harvey beats Johnson

Can Tsirtsis wrestle 138, 145, 152 and throw in 160 they would have a chance. CP has a good solid team but Perry if healthy will win pretty easily IMO. CP/MD and Perry were all about the same on paper last year. I hope CP and Perry don't match up in the first round but it will probably happen.

I think Perry could go with any team nationally ranked 5-25. The top 4 would beat them but 24 nationally is too low they should be 9-15 somewhere in there IMO.

Sounds like a great dual. Any matches on video would be great. That takes some courage to jump up two weights against a top 5 guy. Did Stevenson come close to scoring? I am really surprised Tsirtsis took down got to give him credit. What was the misconduct point for? Nickson seems to be really closing the gap on Kral since last years dual. I could see this dual going a whole different direction with Berry in the line-up and Tsirtsis not being able to bump up two weights. Could be really close at Regionals. Two good teams

Ontherise, thanks for the info. Just a couple questions. Fuqua/Garcia who was the aggressor? Fuqua/Sanderfer who had the defensive fall did Fuqua get pinned or Sandefer? Who wrestled 145? How about did Tsirtsis get back points? I would not think he picked down against a guy that was maybe 12-15 pounds bigger. Sounds like a great dual and Thanks for the info.

If Tsirtsis goes 145 at sectionals the highest he can go is 152 at team regionals or state correct?

Yeah that makes sense. What wt did Fuqua and Sandefer go at? Did they wrestle each other and who won? Never thought I would hear or see Tsirtsis wrestle at 160.

Y2, I did not think you could go up two wt classes or is that just for the team state tournament? Pretty cool to see Tsirtsis take on that challenge.

I think the big match will be if Halsted wrestles? What is his injury and why has he been out so long? Also why was Berry out at Al Smith? Both keys. Also Sandefer and Fuqua is big

Best wrester in the state? I think there might be one better. Todd is good but not the best.

Dunefan or anybody else who saw the match can you give some details? Did Tsirtsis get back points? I am assuming with what the score was he did. Did Langenderfer come close to scoring a takedown? Thanks. I think the guy he wrestled at National Scholastic Duals was Moylan who won this weekend at Stagg (152). Tsirtsis teched him last year at Stagg and beat him at National Scholastic Duals 15-3 or so after he got taken down in the first.

Impressive major for Tsirtisis, Langenderfer is a tough. Anybody have video or give details of the match?

Could be a really good match-up this weekend at Stagg. Langenderfer is ranked 11 nationally on Intermat's rankings. Hope it happens. Anybody going and could post the video it would be appreciated.

Have not seen any results for him in any of the open tournaments and just looked on the Mich State Roster and did not see his name. I am sure it has been mentioned on this board but is he still wrestling and if so where? Thanks

Will see some Tsirtsis vs. Jacksons matches in college I am sure. Was hoping they would be in the same weight this year, don't look like it.

Congrats! I am sure Shober, Friedley and Precin will be great work out partners as well. Great decision. Both would have been great choices. Good luck on going for number four and in college.
