  1. 106 Stevan Micic vs Chad Red -- Micic 6-2 113 Jarred Brooks vs Steven Micic -- Micic 6-5 120 Paul Petrov vs Deondre Wilson-- Petrov 7-3 126 Kyle Ayersman vs Nick Crume-- Ayersman 2-0 132 Jared McKinley vs Cody Lecount-- Mckinley 3-1 138 Devon Jackson vs Tommy Forte--- Jackson 10-3 145 Jason Tsirtsis vs Neal Molloy-- Tsirtsis 20-5 152 Isaiah Bradley vs Josh Farrell-- Farrell 6-3 160 Brian Harvey vs Riley McClurg-- Harvey 9-3 170 Sean Mappes vs Bobby Steveson--- Mappes 7-5 182 Tanner Lynde vs Matt Hurford--- Lynde 8-5 195 Mitch Sliga vs Mitch Sliga 220 Tyler Kral vs Gelen Robinson--- Robinson 3-2 TB 285 Abraham Hall vs Donte Winfield-- Winfield 2-0
  2. I forgot Micic. I think he would win as well.
  3. 2012 was a good year in Indiana. 2013 maybe win 3. Farrell, Robinson and Winfield. Sliga of course is probably a bit better.
  4. Would have liked to have seen Micic vs. Boston again.
  5. I feel like your beef is more with the refs then the Crown Point coaches. You pretty much admit here that you have tried to do the same thing, but are not allowed. It seems the "bigger" schools do the same thing you have tried but they get away with it??? I would say most coaches try to work the officials. In any sport to be a good coach you have to know how each official works and what you can do to help your teams, individual chances.
  6. What weight class was Ferdig at last year? I was impressed with the matches I saw as well. Tough on top. How did he do at Semi State last year?
  7. I did not see it live but watched the replay on Broadcastsports, but the action went out of the screen. The refs gave Fuqua 2, coach for Denton argued and the call was reversed. Was this a good call?
  8. I would love to see Cashe vs. Tsirtsis semi's again. I think everybody in the arena may have been watching that one. That match was amazing for a freshman. Cashe was on fire that year. Too bad it was not under the lights.
  9. This is going to be one of the best ticket round matches. What are the rankings of these two? 6 vs. 5? Who wins this match-up. Seems like Schurg might be up a weight or two. I thought I heard he wrestled off for the 126 spot? Wow tough match for both
  10. You right I thought Reece won, but he lost in semi's. Devon Carter at 132 will be a junior at VT next year. He wrestled a great tournament. Tsirtsis looked good this morning. He was the aggressor in Russell match but was countered pretty easy and was never close to scoring. Tough tournament.
  11. Jason Tsirtsis is wrestling today in one of the toughest International tournaments in the US. He drew the #2 Seed Kevin Levalley. It was a good match he should have won the first period but gave a late takedown and lost 2-3, 2-1, 0-1. He then beat an International freestyle veteran from Canada 3-0, 3-1 with a last second takedown in the 2nd with exposure. Then beat Brandon Radar 7-4, 5-0. He wrestles Kellen Russell two NCAA champ next match (Russell and Alex Tsirtsis had a great big ten match a few years back in TB2). The matches are on http://www.themat.tv/2013/01/2013-dave-schultz-memorial-international-freestyle-session-2/ at 5:00 central. Tough tournament and Jason looked real good this morning. Some really good international and US wrestlers at 145. Reece Humphrey in the finals at 132 against Devon Carter
  12. Just saw Henderson beat Tsirtsis. Anybody see this match and how it went?
  13. Yeah solid match. Never in trouble. It seems the bracket had an error, Northwestern website has him wrestling unattached.
  14. Here is the video. I did not see much smack talk. I can't believe the ref called a stalemate at the end of third though. http://www.gohiocasts.com/coverage/250074-Cleveland-State-Open-GOhioCasts/video/671440-149-lbs-FINAL-Lenny-Richardson-ODU-VS-Jason-Tsirtsis-Northwestern-UNA
  15. Jimtown, I was still under the impression that even in an open event you need to wrestle unattached? I may be wrong though. It looks like most everybody else from NW wrestled unattached. Will be interested to see what wt class Tsirtsis is at for the Midlands. Both 141 and 149 are extremely tough this year.
  16. Saw Tsirtsis won again at 149. I wonder if they pulled his redshirt. He did not wrestle unattached. On the Mat forum somebody mentioned they may have but also could have been a mix up by the people running the tournament. Will be interesting to see what wt he wrestles at Midlands. Here are the brackets: http://grfx.cstv.com/photos/schools/clst/sports/m-wrestl/auto_pdf/2012-13/box_score/stats_20121215aaa.pdf
  17. Dunefan--182 for Crown Point Matt Langbehn got pinned a couple of times. Is he hurt or cutting too much? Was just a bit surprised by some of the results. Did he wrestle 195 last year? Not to take anything away from the guys that beat him. I think he is ranked in the top 10.
  18. Brady over Porras 8-1. If Brady can get by Gabe Moreno he could wrestle Tsirtsis in semi's. Moreno wrestled Tsirtsis in the dream team classic in April. Caleb Irvin from Kentucky looks tough in the top half of the bracket.
  19. 149 at UNI Open has 3 Region wrestlers. Tsirtsis won 8-3. C. Brady will wrestle Porras in the second round they are all on the same side of the bracket. Brackets on Trackwrestling.
  20. Dunefan or anybody else who watched the duals, did Krumlauf wrestle Darden Shurg at 132? If so who won and what was the score? Thanks
  21. I was surprised he was not at the Michigan State Open this weekend. Saw he was registered but when the brackets came out he was not entered. I hope he is fully healthy and ready to go. Look forward to seeing him at the Midlands
  22. A lot of Indiana boys wrestling. I saw many Northwestern wrestlers in the open, but no Tsirtsis. He was registered but is not in the brackets. Anybody know what is wrong. Is he still hurt?
  23. Anybody have results for the wrestle-off?
  24. I was not saying Richey was not tough, I just did not think Roach could cut 141. Seems like a big cut to me. I did not realize he was at 141 during his freshman year. All of his results in opens were at 149.
  25. Wow 141 for Roach, thought for sure he would be 149.
