  1. Got a text from someone there that Stevens decisioned Halsted Ahh, thanks.
  2. Did Halsted (CP) wrestle? I thought he'd be in the finals.
  3. Looks like IndianaMat.com and RankingsGuy are the defacto source for IN rankings. Nice job. http://www.post-trib.com/sports/highschools/1374307,wrsextra.article
  4. For having 20 some odd teams they did a lousey job on da lake county/ not 1 picture and did not have da 3rd and 5th pklace matches on da scorecard I thought the same thing. Perhaps it took up too much precious newspaper space. List top 8 I say.
  5. For those interested in attending. Here?s a quick break down of the schedule: 8 a.m.: Doors open to general public. 9 a.m.: Wrestling begins. 1:30 p.m.: Break for lunch. 2:30 p.m.: Wrestling resumes. 4:30 p.m.: Semifinals. 6 p.m.: Parade of champions. 7 p.m.: Finals. The tournament will be held at Clark High School. All the Lake County schools will be competing except for powerhouses Crown Point and Merrillville, Montalbano said. Tickets: All-session pass: Adults - $8.00 / Students - $6.00 / Family - $24.00 (two adults & two+ kids). After 3 p.m.: Adults - $4.00 / Students - $3.00 / Family - $12.00 (two adults & two+ kids)
  6. Nope, he never wrestled. We did have another kid injury default in the 2nd or 3rd period and was losing at the time.
  7. See: http://indianamat.com/messageboard/index.php/topic,1030.0.html Note: Estrada didn't wrestle in the finals due to an injury. With sectionals around the corner no sense making it worse.

  9. He was hurt prior to the Munster Super duals. It was Slagle that Witous pinned not Brian O.
  10. Yes, so far so good for them. I agree the coaches are great and so is Dan G.
  11. Did he, at what Tourny? I've been to every Munster match and I can assure you that Surma was never pinned and has not lost.
  12. I stand corrected. I thought he was the 140 guy.
  13. I don't believe that was Peronis (140?). I'm fairly certain Surma went 152 against MC.
  14. I also noticed the old site is once again RIP. Problems may arise on this site but at least we know Y2 actually cares.
  15. I believe so; but not 100% sure.
  16. That is correct; minor injury and back very soon.
  17. I think you might be the only one who was disappointed. Tsirtsis is the real deal much like Roach was his freshman year. I was very impressed with how far this kid has gone.
  18. Any way to create a link from the message board index to the Rankings?
  19. That's my point Y2, it shouldn't happen but it does. How many 103s at state are naturally under 110. I'd bet 2/3 of 16.
  20. I agree that the gap is too large. But today, kids that weigh 114 lbs or less still go 103. If you can eliminate this, then I'm ok with going beyond 105.
  21. Don't say that or all the people that love 103lbs will be stating that you are ELIMINATING the 103lb weight class. I am guessing within two years there will be a change, just my educated guess. I think most people would be ok with a slight adjustment (including me), but anything more than 105 is pushing it. If forfeits are still a problem at 105 then the issue could be reeavaluated. Y2 you're on my good side so I'll give in a little
