  1. Will they compete with these three? Castle, MD, and Bloominton South will be the best we're guessing. ??? Sorry. What does Jeff's lineup look like? I guess we are believing that it will be a three horse race with possibly two horses being close and the other a little further back. Maybe Jeff will come to race.
  2. Congrats greyhounds!!!!!!! Keep it up on the upcoming duals. Complete U of Indy story. http://athletics.uindy.edu/news/2009/12/5/WREST_1205095612.aspx?path=wrest
  3. Threats.......wow...People evidently drink and then post on this message board. Maybe I need to do more of that when I read some of these hilarious topics and posts. Come on man....I know we all want the best for our programs, but be real. Team State!!!!!!! You got beat very badly by Harrison and Mt. Vernon from what I read. Best of Luck to all the wrestlers and teams from our area.
  4. Wow, I didn't see this coming ...wink wink.... what was the Mt. Vernon score vs North? I think md85 beat us all to it...ha ha
  5. I have a hard time believing only 17 kids....I'll have to talk to my sources.....I haven't got that scoop yet.
  6. I for one not even thinking about MD and third in the same sentence quite yet......let alone making a post and mentioning it. Way to early. Agree, Reitz will be very good at the lower weights. Does anyone have some ideas of lineups yet. I read a few about MD.....how about Castle and Reitz? Wrestle offs will be next week for most. Rueger and Moody are going to wrestle each other in diapers? WOW What kind of baby did Moody look like with a fro like that?
  7. Exercise science/physical therapy are his intentions.
  8. He verbally committed a few weks ago. He will officially sign this weekend.
  9. Alex will continue his wrestling and academics with the University of Indy. After a tough but decisive decision he will be a Greyhound. With their strong academics and good young wrestling team, he would be challenged to find another program that he would benefit any more from. It's also great to see him staying in-state. Josh Hardman will be getting two very good young men in Alex and Shelby. Congrats also to Shelby.
  10. Best of Luck Steven. Congratulations on your decision to attend Purdue. Awesome that your staying in state!
  11. Hopefully what your saying is not true. I would hope that the guys next year will be eligible to wrestle. Can anyone list their recruiting class for 2009 season. How does it compare to some of the other schools in state?
  12. Indy announced officially this afternoon on their website. http://athletics.uindy.edu/news/2009/4/20/WREST_0420091326.aspx?path=wrest
  13. Congratulations Cam!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  14. I've got to ask the most obvious question...." Would your invitational be classed? " : I was reading through the post and was thinking the same when I came to this post. I was thinking a small school division would be great. LOL LOL
  15. One of the toughest is the SIAC @ Castle. This is the meatgrinder of the south. MATER DEI, CASTLE, REITZ, MEMORIAL, NORTH, CENTRAL, HARRISON, BOSSE.
  16. Thank you Coach McCormick and all the coaches who assisted in the dual this weekend at Wabash. It was a pleasure to see such good wrestlers come together and truly have an memorable experience. It helps also when your team wins. ;D Win or lose, I know my son has been blessed by being a part of a couple IHSCA dual teams and now a senior IN/IL dual team. His memories and friendships that he has inquired have been enjoyable for me to see. He will never forget and neither will I. Thanks again Mark Johns Proud parent of Alex Johns (Evansville Reitz)
  17. Mason Schnaar ER Ryun Hall EC Isiah Kemper EC Alex Schneider MD Schoettlin MD These are a few more to add to the list. There are quite a few more but its late and my mind isn't working real good.
  18. It was fun to watch you these past couple years. Please tell me your wrestling somewhere next year? This sounds like fun. Please post when this may happen ;D ;D Sounds to me like a challenge.
  19. Thanks Bash513 and BizzyCoach. Sometimes not all the chains are decent to stay in. Always like to get someone's opinion who is familiar in the settings. Sounds like it will be a great time with some exciting wrestling. My son stays pretty cool but, I think he's really looking forward to this weekend.
  20. Is there a motel of choice where everyone is staying? Just wondering. I didn't see any info on the sheet. Maybe I missed it or my son didn't get all the paper work to me. LOL LOL
  21. Anthony Williams of Evansville Central was surprising. Was he ranked in his junior year when he won? I know the following year ( his senior year ) he was pinned in the first tourney of the year by Lucas Robertson of Evansville Reitz.
  22. Congrats Steven and family from Southern Indiana. Great looking dance. Now you will probably be expected to perform at your prom. ;D Maybe AJ and Steven will see more of each other and be together next year at the next level. Best of luck next week.
