Agreed. I was very skeptical but it is hard not to be a believer after all he has done this year. I think he would still get handled by Howe or Burroughs but it wouldn't be a big suprise if he hung close. And Rat, agree with you also. But it may turn out to be better for him taking his lumps as a starter this year. The way he is wrestling right now against top competition is looking very promising.

Same thing he has done to basically everyone this year. I would like to see him win it. Sean looks pretty good himself at 57, hopefully he makes it to the big show.

Looks like taking 2nd may turn out to be a good thing for Bass. If he makes it, he would now face Reese in the finals instead of semis.

What does it matter 1st round or ticket round? Still not going to state either way. If you want to talk about unfair, it would be unfair for Sims to wrestle and risk furthering his injury. He takes the defaults and a tougher road to state, I think it is obviouly fair.

Regardless a regional champ is going to have to wrestle Sims or Welch in the ticket round if he doesn't default. The fair is in july, this is wrestling.

No Sliga is at New Castle. Stevenson at Evansville.

I think he was referring to Reese. But, Bass was 1st team all state and i believe the 1st or 2nd leading rusher in the state.

A major at 25 is HIGHLY doubtful.

New Castle has to get through Columbus East 1st. That will be a very close dual. I could see East winning at 103, 112, 125, 130, 135, 140, 160, 171, 189, and 285.
