A little display in bad sportsmanship

ive seen much worse from some parents so doesnt surprise me ...and dont get me started on those parents, i could literally type for hrs.... -
not the big timey names but saw some good matches between more novice wrestlers getting their first win(much like y2s kid a few years back)and just as if not more exciting than the "big" matches.

Wrestling dads? How much weight cutting for your kid?

i know if my dad knew how much weight i cut i wood have never wrestled again...i actually started to go blind...couldn't read textbooks and was having trouble just standing up. Made weight but couldn't wrestle went home 1st thing started eating again and gained that 21 lbs back in 2 weeks that was many many moons ago before they had strict rules -
AJ, these large schools you speak of that are very bad at wrestling.... how can this be ?

using numbers(3 class) that aren't part of the argument(2 class) is hardly factual...me thinks it is deceitful ...

i was really questioning this especially since there where 3 wrestler of the year awards, 1 for each of 3 individual classes

so, are promoting the 3 class system over the 2 ? why not split this into 10 classess and that would make your argument ironclad

are we also going to be voting for the 3 best of class and coaches awards also ? quote from intro for mr. gorilla earlier "In case you missed our big announcement last night here are the details. We are giving out seven awards this year to coaches and wrestlers. 1A, 2A, and 3A Wrestler of the Year awards This will go to the top wrestler in each class and the IndianaMat staff will vote if two wrestlers finished the same place. 1A, 2A, and 3A Coach of the Year awards This will go to coaches based on their team's performance throughout the season. This will be voted on my the IndianaMat staff and we will consider many factors. Mr. Gorilla- Indiana Wrestler of the Year award This will go to a senior and have voters from around the state voting for it. The recipient will be ineligible for the class wrestler of the year awards. Starting in early November we will have a Mr. Gorilla watch list for you to follow throughout the season. Each award winner will receive an awesome trophy to display and we will show pictures once they make their way to Waterloo in the next couple weeks. "

Me too, but I think this broadcast is huge as far as promoting Indiana high school wrestling. HUGE !
