I could be wrong but I'm almost certain Shane Perkey threw Angel and kept him there until the period was over. At that point, Angel put on a clinic.

I’m doing some personal research to answer a few questions I have for myself. If you could help me I would greatly appreciate it. If you have knowledge of any of these programs I loved to hear from you. Also, if they do not have a wrestling program, as I’m sure some don’t, that information would be appreciated as well. How many wrestlers played on the following football teams this season? It wasn't but it should have been and was wrestled as if it was a championship match... Best match I've seen regardless of the setting.

I have a wrestler whose alpha weight was 112.9 lbs. with 8.4% body fat. Since the seasons started he has been consistently weighing out at 107lbs. With the parent permission sign off, he can only go to 108.6 lbs. I was under the understanding that with the doctor?s sign off he would be able to make 106 lbs. When I submitted the information to the state, this was not the case. We were told the doctor?s sign off didn?t matter. I wasn?t sure if I was missing something or we?re just stuck at 113. Any help would be appreciated.

I can promise you those words never came from one of our wrestlers. Maybe one of your wrestler said that or assumed that, but those words never came from our team.

I believe these were your words?. That?s not an opinion that?s a statement. Therefore your ignorance of the subject was clear in your statement. You were not there during weign-ins or the pre match talks with the kids. You have no clue.

First of all, the team you faced is a young team but were not held out for that reason. We had four guys out because they were sick the previous day. Our policy is if you?re not at practice the day before a meet you are not eligible to wrestle. Secondly, due to the required weigh-ins we felt it was necessary to weigh in certain wrestles to ensure they had the proper amount of weigh-ins for sectionals. Some of the wrestlers we weighed in literally have been out for a week. Our 182 was over weight. I don?t believe in rewarding a wrestler by bumping him up to a higher weight as a result of his irresponsibility. Even if the next weight class is a forfeit. Yes, we have been dealing with a couple of wrestlers who have been recovery from concussion symptoms and other injuries, one of which was injured during WARM UPS. In the future, be sure you actually have knowledge on the reasoning behind a team not wrestling a full line-up instead of showing your ignorance and insulting a program. Many times there?s more information than what?s printed in the paper.

I?m looking for ways to give our middle school coaches a hand during their season. They have several mandatory meetings they must attend during practice times. I have had some trouble finding ideas that would work with the time given for practices, loop buses, meeting, etc. I ?m curious, how do some of the other high schools help their middle schools with wrestling? Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Is it legal to have a feeder middle school practice at the high school when both seasons are in session? Would it be illegal to have the high school wrestlers serve as assistant coaches, helping the middle school wrestlers on technique and instruction? I have heard some say it is illegal and some say it is legal. Some AD's I've talked to say yes, but I have been told by other coaches this is illegal. Would it be illegal to have a middle school camp that would be set up in a similar fashion? Can anyone shed some light on this?

Has there been any word on possible candidates for this position? Regardless of what has happened in the past, this is still an attractive job, imo. Any ideas when they plan to name a coach?
