  2. We could see a Bob Floyd vs Brandon Coppinger this weekend. Should be good
  3. I added him in @3rd the Rochester Regional st 135 is Stacked. 135 in general has 3 guys who can medal very high.
  4. It was Freddy it was the year he took 5th. Ricky was a runner up to bryce Hassleman
  5. McCoy from McCutheon has lost but I'm not sure where. Monix or Estrada will lose there 0 this weekend both are wrestling 160
  6. No reason to go up...He already beat March pretty handily and im pretty sure has the upper hand on Roach... Mville semi state will tell it all...I got a feelin hes gonna edge Roach out in a close one! JMO tho I wouldn't say he Handled March pretty Good it was a 1 pt match. We have 4 unbeaten heavy Weights. Coty Anderson Highland, James Travis Merrillville, Fitzgereld John Glenn and Wesley Everett Delphi
  7. Congrats Flo wrestling has some film on Jeff Jordan running practice
  8. He was ranked as high a #2. But his lose to Cleveland Lowell #1 and the last 2 losses to Coleman Portage and Bakilk CP at the DAC has dropped him out. He is tough and having a great year but 1,2,3 went 234 at the Al Smith and 2 3 haven't lost since okay very true. i hope he can beat bakalik CP on tuesday though. both of them really did improve from last year though. Vlade is having a great year. He has come a long way from last year. I mean no disrespect by not having him ranked. But the only rankings that matter is the ones at the end of the year(the state finals)
  9. I love those side burns, We need to see if Calumet Coach Jim Wadkins will post the Picture of State Champ Andy Trevino they have on the wall by the Gym he was Rocking the Mullet
  10. He was ranked as high a #2. But his lose to Cleveland Lowell #1 and the last 2 losses to Coleman Portage and Bakilk CP at the DAC has dropped him out. He is tough and having a great year but 1,2,3 went 234 at the Al Smith and 2 3 haven't lost since

Font Size: Default font size Larger font size BY NATE ULRICH nate.ulrich@nwitimes.com 219.933.3374 | Wednesday, January 21, 2009 | 1 comment(s) NWI Photo Store The first two years of Griffith senior Chris Bartley's high school wrestling career were rough. Panthers coach Travis Walls said Bartley didn't win much, but he kept coming back for more. After all, Bartley is accustomed to overcoming adversity and defying the odds. Bartley was born with his eyes crossed, and he had corrective surgery when he was 10 months old. He can see out of only one eye, but he hasn't allowed his disability to prevent him from becoming one of the Region's top prep wrestlers. Bartley can't wear glasses when he wrestles, and contacts don't work well for him because he has a strong astigmatism. Therefore, he can't see more than a few feet in front of him while he's on the mat. http://nwi.com/articles/2009/01/21/sports/indiana_prep_sports/docda851438567927f686257543007c0ee1.txt
  17. Talent wil get you to State it will give you a medal. But alot of times at Merrillville a Draw can Cripple a Kid. This isn't a knock but if you not a Regional Champ you want to go through Logansport. South Bend, Crown Point and Calumet always produce Mulitple Finalist. Once again this isn't a knock to Logansport Regional I think they had a great Showing last season and should do great this year. But really that is the Way it is.
  18. HAs anyone gone 6 minutes With Myers this season? Crown Point has only had 22 matches I've seen 10+ and No one has gone the Distance all falls and All Cradles
