  1. nice D-ray fights like 170 right. Good Card at the Venue Some region guys didn't fare so well
  2. I really can't see this happening - Penn was a state qualifier @103 He has made a very good transition to 125- I wouldn't call this regional weak at 125 when they could possibly get 2 into the state tournament (Penn and Hicks) And this wont happen either just take a look at South Newton's Schedule The best kid he's beaten was at Sections when he beat Rowe, Rowe then beat himat regionals to place 3rd This is 100% correct good call on this one Shiedler??????? over Lott i think not Tolle is wrestling really well right now I just think they are going to be close matches.
  3. Nice Holland did pretty well at 215 I think the cut to 189 is good for him. He is a pretty big 189. Best of luck to him
  4. Myers was 5th but is still tough with a tore ACL
  5. I already picked Roach. Are you saying we should have had a debate on who wants it more before we made our picks ;D
  6. 103 #4 Aurileo Medina Munster(37-4) vs #1Brandon Preston - Logansport 31-4 -Medina had 1 loss going in to sectionals 125 #4 Sam Camacho Hobart 27-8 vs #1 Erza Penn Laf Harrison 39-3- Camacho lost in the ticket Rd last year at 119 145 #4 Pat Davenport Penn 31-7 vs #1 Keon Jones Merrillville 33-5 Davenport beat Jones in the 7/8 place match at Al Smith 171 #4 Deron Johnson Lowell 22-13 vs #1 Huey Hudson SB Riley 32-5 a match up of 8th and 5th placers at Al Smith 171 #4 Blake Hoffer Triton 17-3 vs #1 Andrew Sands Hanover Central 33-12 Hoffer a returning SQ lost 2 at regionals is part of his 3 losses 171 #4 Ryne Bell South Newton 34-2 vs #1 Chris Bartley Griffth 31-3 Bell got his first 2 losses at the Regional. Bartley has spent time between 189/171 189 #4 Mark Shiedler - Winamac 33-5 vs #1 Wille Lott EC Central 22-1 215 #4 Jim Bakalik - Crown Point 21-11 vs #1 Brady Tolle - Lewis Cass 33-1 Bakalik is a go'er has beat some tough comp. this year I'm not picking all these as upsets but should be some good matches
  7. But he could be varsity in alot of line ups
  8. I like the pitbull shoutout, ontherise. I agree...he gets past lymburner and the Lake Station Edison Eagles will be represented down at Conseco!!! Oh yeah, don't sleep on the Eagles
  9. U ain't gonna add Ullery vs Myers @ 160. I have to give everyone a chance to add some info I can't take all the good Matches
  10. it wasnt us it was that1guy, i dont think anyone has agreed with him But I think he might be right
  11. Another good coach from the Region that always has some tough guys. He had some tough teams over the years Also runs one of the toughest if not the toughest. Jim Wadkins Calumet. Is a Calumet Grad and came back to coach his Alma Mater. He also has 350+ wins
  12. 103 Harvey Cath won he was 5-0, but I think he wrestled Stoneburner 112 Beck Mish d Roytek Cath 119 Guerra Mish Maj McGinley Cath 125 Wright ath Maj Schroder Mish 130 Harper mish tech Grey Cath 135 Casaro Cath d Mersish mish 140 Sandefer Mish d T. McGinley Cath 3-2 145 G.McGinley Wbf White Mish 152 Sullivan Cath d Forte Mish 160 Willis Cath d Morin Mish 171 Smith Mish d Cath 189 Boyd Mish d 215 Lentz Mish d Cath Hwt Thomas Mish Wbf not sure it has been awhile
  13. Still Unbeaten 103 Kyle Ayersman Lake Central Side note All of Stevens Merrillville(4) and Brooks(1) have come to Ayersman 112 Anthony Hawkins Crown Point 119 Justin Brooks Warsaw and Danny Bradley Knox 135 Eric Roach Crown Point, Trent Reinhold mishawaka and Johnny Dillon Hobart 140 Alex Surma Munster 145 Dan Young CMA 152 Sean McMurray Portage 160 Mark Myers Crown Point 171 Braden Atwood Delphi 189 Marcus Shrewsbury Crown Point 275 Craig Fitzgereld John Glenn, James Travis Merrillville and Wesley Everett Delphi
  14. With Beck out and Wright and Grey down a weight really help the Irish out. Guerra beat McGinley, he won't beat Wright, and Harper teched Grey Grey should beat Mish. 125
  15. I'm all for the Merrillville Semi State. Being from the Region but I don't think these guys are locks. I was at the Tricoff and Hawkins didn't handle Nelson He beat him worse last year at the Tricoff this year it was a 1 or 2 point match with Nelson on his legs at the end. Merrillville could produce alot of Champs but puting our selfs out there like this makes us seem arrogant
  16. Another good one was Javier Salas Merrillville vs Eric Galka Hobart. They had some great matches. Galka was returning Champ and Salas won the title that year. Also Aaron Sessa Lake Central vs Fernando Martinez Highland
  17. That is a Wild Comment. The guy doesn't have it to win a State Title but has it to win National titles?
  18. For the Fort Wayne Semi State not getting that much respect. There are alot of great ticket Rd matches.
  19. 140 Jack"the Grim Reaper" Hammons LSE vs Steven Sandefer Mish. 130 Mike Clark Cal vs Camdryn Brady Low 125 Sam Camacho Hob vs Ezra Penn Laf Har Don't sleep on Sam he is still tough 145 Aaron"PitBull" Hammons vs Tyler Lymburner SB Riley
  20. It is hard to pick a Crown Point kid to win a title when is the Last time CP had a Champ. They could have 5(Hawkins, Tsirtsis, Meyers, Shrewsbury and Roach) I wouldn't say any where a lock
