    It was a great room last week!!! Tonight come and get another great workout with some of elite wrestlers and coaches this state has to offer. Anyone who will be wrestling at Folkstyle State, IN vs. ILL duals make sure you are there to get one last great workout in. Looking forward to tonight. Coach Weimer

    This Thursday we will be starting, @ 5:30!!! Anyone preparing for the upcoming ISWA Folkstyle state, IN vs. ILL Dual, Flo-nationals, NHSCA nationals, or Iowa nationals should be in this room. It will be filled with some of the best wrestlers and coaches in our State. Coach Weimer

    We will be starting our open room next Thursday March 4th @ 5:30. This is a great room for anyone to prepare for the up-coming IN vs ILL All-Star Duals, NHSCA Nationals, Flo-nationals, or Fargo!!!! Some of the best wrestlers in the state and nation were battling with each other last year in the room and will be there again. State Champs - Nelson 119, Wright 125, Norton 135, Bennett 152, Johnson-Jones 189 State Runner-ups - Berryman 135, Willis 160 State Placers and Qualifiers ? Moss 103, Harvey 112, Stringfield 130, Bell 130, Rattay 135, Williams 135, Black 135, Hall 140, Oliver 160, Brooks 160, Bill 171, Smith 171, Brandt 171, Sliga 189, Buchanan 215, Wright 215 Plus many other Semi-State Qualifiers from around the Indy area. Former and current Team Indiana National Coaches will be there to work out with along with the LN staff and many other great coaches and legends of the Indianamat.com board.     Congrats Brandon "Mr. Saturday Night Special" Nelson. I am very proud of you. To be the first ever 4-time placer in LN history is a true accomplishment. Purdue is getting a great one. Coach Weimer

    I would put LN Assistant Coach Eric Douglas up against Reggie Wright any day. He is still tough as nails and is one of the best coaches in the state. It would be a great match to watch.

    I feel there shouldn't be riding time in the regular high school season. There is to much parity in talent between wrestlers at the high school level to make it worth while. With that said, I think the idea of implementing riding time at the national tournaments would be good. Most of the wrestlers that are wanting to wrestle in college attend these events and they would get a taste of how it works and it would give the college coaches a better look at their overall wrestling ability.

    If you are tired of wating on the state brackets to come out, stop by Lawrence North today and watch some great college wrestling at 100..Admission is $5, and children under the age of 5 are free. I am pumped to see Cashe' and Angel wrestle, both of their styles of wrestling have all the ingredients for some fireworks!!!! Coach Weimer

    Castleton Mall is a great place to go shopping and is very close to LN. I could leave a cheese trail for you rat, so you won't get lost.

    TC, I know you are not Bobby Cox and I don't have all the answers but who will be notified, The AD's from the participating school's, the wrestling coaches, or Coach Peck who is hosting the tournament? This is something that should be taken care of by the end of the school day so the participating schools can let their wrestlers know. Thanks for the help. Coach Weimer

    Here is my question. Since we are all in the same tournament series but locations are held at different sites, would everyone get the pound allowance? (ex. Ev semi-state gets to weigh in at with 2lbs due to weather then NC, FW, & MV get the 2pounds also) Coach Weimer

    Last Years 171 State Runner-up Bryce Grimes from LN. Freshman year he was a back-up most of the season until being pulled up to varsity, soph more year reg Q, junior year SSQ, and Senior year first time at state and making it to the finals and finishing 2nd. He was a great kid who worked very hard to achieve his goals, First and only trip to the big show and he finished runner-up. Coach Weimer

    Rat, If that is the case I am ok with it. It is a win-win situation for me, she shops and I watch wrestling. But I don't think the my wife a Bolier alum will miss Cashe "Money" wrestle, heck sometimes she likes that kid more than she likes me. Coach Weimer

    No the match will not be on the BTN, you will have to come and watch it live. Personally I think it will be worth the trip to see this dual. Coach Weimer
