  1. Get there early.. The best matches will be quarters and semis.. The better wrestlers didn't get separated in a bunch of weight classes..

Wrestlers must pick up their weigh-in card(s) and proceed to the weigh in line. A current USAW card needs to be shown at check-in. *Make sure to pick up all weigh-in cards for each style the athlete is participating in. Kids Division athletes are allowed to weigh-in once provided that they actively compete in each consecutive style. (If an athlete misses weight they can attempt to reclassify for next style during that styles scheduled weigh-in time.) 2. Wrestlers must be in line at the beginning of weigh-ins. Once weigh-ins start, wrestlers will no longer be able to pick up their weigh-in card and will not be able to weigh-in. 3. Wrestlers should only have a competition singlet on when entering the weigh-in area. They must submit to a skin disease screening prior to weigh-in. The chief medical officer has full authority without appeal in determining the eligibility of an athlete to compete. Parents/coaches cannot accompany the wrestlers. They will not be allowed to carry additional clothing or anything other than the weigh-in card with them during weigh-ins. 4. Weigh-in cards must be left in the weigh-in area. Do NOT leave the weigh-in area with your weigh-in card. 5. Wrestlers only need to weigh-in one time for all three styles provided he/she actively competes in the first two styles. Athletes that wrestle in the first and third style must reweigh-in for the third style. 2 Breaks Scheduled as Necessary

  9. haha $100.. you sleeping in tents for two nights? $250 includes all gear, meals, lodging and travel to and from venue.
  10. What it is going to end up, there will only be teams allowed into the tournament that are "sponsored" by the states coaches association, which originally was the format. It was a privelage to let other Indiana teams compete. The NWCA can go right back to the original tournament format just as easy as they let other teams in.. Its their tournament, not Indiana's. It would be in the best interest of all parties to stop what their doing, let the coaches association fill their teams with the proper qualifiers, and then fill their respective teams. Otherwise, Renegades, Indianamat teams will be no longer. The last person you want to piss off is JC. He runs the show, does a great job. Kids need to wrestle to represent their state. If they are invited to represent the IHSWCA, that is a invite they earned. I have benefited from the Renegades in the past with my wrestlers, but I would certainly vote all outside parties out if it would protect the integrity of the duals. Its a quite simple request. Fill your teams with kids who didn't qualify to be on Indiana Gold or Blue.
  11. As long as they don't qualify for blue or gold teams. Have at it!
  12. LN decided not to do it because warren picked one up last year.

  15. LN right now is a very young team. 7 Soph. 4 Juniors, 3 Seniors in the lineup. Forfeiting 106/120 currently. We are a very Jekyll/Hyde team. We have lost 3 matches that have come down to the last match and Carmel came down to the last match as well. Forfeits are hurting us. Pretty competititive the rest of the way. Our 126 is out with injury this weekend, so we will be going with a JV kid there. Should be a pretty good tournament team over the next couple of years. There have been a series of unfortunatel events that have not helped us.. Our Soph. 106 moved to PH the first week of the season, leaving us stranded there without.. Our Junior 120 had suffered his last concussion/neck injury and isn't allowed to compete, and our ranked 145/152 no longer attends LN or any Indiana school for that matter. We could fill 120 but choose not to due to the lack of experience. If you know any 106lbs looking for a good home, send them to LN!

  18. What a great program run today by Steve Stahl and RockstarKBG! 15 LN Wildcats made the journey north for an all day session learning great stuff to bring back to LN to get that edge over our opponents. I highly recommend setting up times with Rockstar to work with your wrestlers. My kids had a ton of fun with the workouts and were fired up to continue this back home. There is a posted add on this website, I suggest you check it out..
  19. LN welcomes any suggestions on how to improve the tournament as well. Be constructive! Or I will hunt you down and blast double you! We have already addressed the blocking off the mats, and how to improve seating in the fieldhouse. Unfortunately, knocking down a wall and adding 50ft in width isn't an option. We ran 10 surfaces, our max is probably 12. Remember, we are the host, we deal with the facilities and concessions, not the pairings and tournament flow.
  20. Expect many more studs walking in too. Like you said, it's in our backyard.
  21. There is Walk up registration for the Central Regional at LN this weekend. Nearly 400 wrestlers signed up!
