Estrada has been sitting out to rest a knee I believe. I think he dinged it up in the first or second weekend of the season. Probably a good idea to rest it and don't take any chances before the sectional if it is still bothering him.

Good to see LC back in. So with the exception of Crown Point, Merrillville and Morton, all the rest of the county schools are entered. I know that CP and Merr. have other committments, but why would Morton drop out? With all of the Hammond schools belonging to their own 4 school conference, I'm sure their schedules have had to suffer a little. So why not take the opportunity to get your kids a full day of wrestling . I hope that if they did drop out that they at least picked up another tourney elsewhere.

I think he must still be nursing a bad shoulder. He did wrestle in the meet they had at Rich East a couple weeks ago , but he wasn't tested at all. Probably not a good idea to have to go against the competition at the Midlands if you aren't 100 % . Hopefully he'll be ready for the Big Ten part of their schedule.

I suggest printing brackets ahead of time sometimes they run out. Also, a seat cushion is a good idea for those bleachers. I haven't been in a few years but hope to make it out this year. Mishiwaka Brewing Company was always a good place for lunch are they still open?

How about D'wone Williams 103lber from Gary Wirt and I know Gary Roosevelt isn't exactly a small school, but I would also consider George Porter (hwt) a one hit wonder too. I think they were both champions in 1989.

Hammer, Hummel couldn't have lost to someone from Dwenger @ Semi-state. Rochester is@ Merrillville. I do think he was a 4x SS champ. Help us out TAE .

The starting lines were on the outside of the 10 ft circle. It was ok for a coach to drop an over weight wrestler off and tell them "we'll meet you at the school".

How about Ken Taroli from Hammond Gavit a 2x champ or Wayne Blake from Whiting who placed 3rd I think.
