Yep, I've been a CUBS fan for about 18 years, since I went to my first game there. I will not turn on the CUBS...Blue and Red are my baseball colors! 8)

I looked at the pictures and in Brandon Wright's picture it does not look like he is intending to flip anyone off. It seems he is more upset at himself for not winning and is still disappointed on the podium. But the topic does need to be dropped. Lot of great matches at state!

I do not think he said anything was wrong with going to PM...I believe Y2 stated that you should pick going to another school for academics. I agree academics make a big part of your college choices. My brother had a chance to go to a college for sports, but his academics were not good enough. I think you should choose to go to a different school for a better education. I do not disagree with you taking your son to PM b/c he will probably receive a better education there. Not just in wrestling.

Like it was said before you do not have to compete in off-season tournaments to improve. You can improve speed, agility, balance, etc. in workouts with coaches, partners, or yourself. You can go to camps without people knowing. I'm not taking anything away from you. I loved watching you wrestle, and would love to watch you wrestle again. It was just my opinion that I think this years Chalfant would win.

If no escape would have been awarded then I would've got it in the third.. How would he have gotten better? By all of his off season work that he put in? Lol last year if I neeeded a takedown or an escape to win, then I got it.. In my matches, just because the score was close doesn't mean the match was close.. I highly doubt that he would score 4 offensive points on me.. The only way he would get 4 is if I cut him 4 times.. Don't mean to sound like a jerk about it either Were you there by his side the whole offseason? Do you know if he participated in any wrestling in the offseason? Were you in the Winchester wrestling room all season? Heck were you at the state finals this year? No one ever said you weren't a great wrestler. You are and always will be one of the best HWT's from Indiana. I give you props for your style and heart. Kinda wrong to come on here and say a kid didn't work in the offseason, UNLESS you were right there by his side the whole time! JMO

I know...I'm not going by how the guys wrestled last year that won it this year. I'm going by their abilities a year later when they won state. Not when they placed runner-up. If you look Chalfant also lost to Adams last year. That was last year!

Sorry! I didnt have much to base it off of. Really it was one of the ones that was 50/50 for me. I based it off of the common opponent from the state tournament. :-\
