They totally changed the basketball tournament for regionals and semi state this year.

Being told the location will be announced at the March meeting. This coming from higher ups at the Ford Center. Not sure when the March meeting is.

Serious question. Where does everyone park at Purdue? I don’t see any lots or parking garages.

State finals deserves to be in the best available venue in the state. Not a high school gymnasium.

2 hours for you is 5 hours for someone else though right? Why not have it in the best possible available facility in the state at the time? Reward the wrestlers.

Is it true that Purdue threw their name in the mix last week which is why IHSAA is waiting to announce?

I think he means MVC. Which is the league for U of E. USI has their own arena on campus and they are now in the OVC.

Very hard to see in the arena.

That’s the worst part (seating). Our school had a plan to get everyone in the same section. W the issues on Ticketmaster the plan did not work. We are spread out in 5-6 sections across the arena.

Not the best picture but this was in the first round. The other side was just as full. Can you imagine all those people crammed into a high school gym? I imagine there wouldn’t be a seat left. The 4 mats at NC are touching and cover the entire floor. The 4 mats at Evansville were in a single row and had a ton of room on both ends. The seating capacities are nowhere near each other.

I got ahold of Gainbridge ticket office. He said they only released the lower and middle bowl to start and when it sold out they are slowly opening the upper bowl sections. He did say he would switch single session tickets to all session tickets but they would have to be in the upper bowl. Just fyi.

It looks like they are releasing in waves to keep people closer to the mats. Why would they not release everything at once? I had to buy all 3 single session tickets instead of the all session. Now all session tickets are available.

So… you guys think Ticketmaster or Gainbridge will combine the 3 single session tickets into an All Session ticket and refund the difference?

No all session tickets available. But all 3 single sessions available. Wtf.

Are they not selling the upper bowl? Only singles in lower two.
