  1. I was there for a basketball game earlier this month and used my debit card at the concession stand.
  2. How much will losing Forrester impact Brownsburg's chances in a few weeks? Being ranked 9th, he clearly had a shot to place. That could be a loss of valuable team points in the race with CP
  3. Not a fan of entering more than one kid per weight from a school. What's the point if it is a non-scoring wrestler? The elite schools that can fill these spots will just take spots from the smaller school kids. I'm sure BB, CP, CG and MD could have had multiple kids at some weights advance to regionals by knocking out smaller school kids or kids from programs that aren't very good that would love to have a chance to advance to regionals.
  4. Very fun match to watch, but the stakes of Lee vs Red were so high, this match doesn't come close to it.
  5. On a positive note, 2x MD state champ Gabe Sollars leads the nation in pins for IU.
  6. Nick Lee twice. only two losses in his career were to two kids ranked #1 in the country in Micic and Red. I believe he bonused every other kid he wrestled in his three years at MD.
  7. Results won't come without elite recruits. I'm sorry, but while the effort in matches has improved since Goldman, I haven't really seen the talent in the room improve. There are so many Indiana HS studs in the room, but they haven't developed as quickly as other schools develop their kids.
  8. Is Lee on the Micic plan? If he medicals and wrestles next year, that will be his 7th year
  9. Has Brayton Lee taken the mat yet? If not, when will he?
  10. If you are going to put them in a separate class, then yes you do.
  11. I couldn't care less at this point. Either do it or don't do it. Makes no difference to me. But it will be all or nothing with the individual sports I do wonder if the swimming coaches association wants class swimming given the strangle hold that Carmel has on the girls side.
  12. IHSAA has no desire to class individual sports. Until swimming, golf, track and tennis are classed, wrestling will remain one class. For better or worse, this is what the IHSAA wants.
  13. MD and Reitz is always fun, no matter the sport. But this won't be close.
  14. having mason gibson in the lineup likely wins the tournament for them. But hats off to BB and CP for a heckuva tournament.
  15. Wasn't Bishop McCort missing a few kids? Don't recall seeing a 113, 132 or 285 in the brackets for McCort.
  16. it's more than the "nobody" that you said. 6 out of 10 weight classes had an undefeated national champion. Without looking, that is likely pretty close to the same result most years.
  17. That was Delta. Come on, man! Avon has never won one.
  18. A lot of people go undefeated, 6 did last season. That being said, an early season loss to a tough wrestler is not a big deal. I would expect a different result should they meet again
  19. Snider sucks! Glad you don't charge me rent in that head of yours
  20. Well, if both rioux's win then that swings it in Avon's favor. I wouldn't be surprised to see a split or a sweep either way between the Rioux's and the Schaefer's
  21. 2004, Portage beat 9x defending champ MD at team state
