Chad Red Has and Will always be such an entertaining wrestler to watch. Does anybody knows if he plans on competing still?

Deondre is such an amazing athlete and such an awesome wrestler. I believe he started wrestling his freshman year. Then did one year of JUCO, not sure the result of that but went on to compete in the national circuit where if I am not mistaken, he scored a takedown on Jordan Oliver! If he does go back to college you can expect him to earn All American status and be in the hunt for a national championship. He never stopped wrestling!!!

Rumor has it that deondre Wilson is back in college at Manchester university this upcoming year. Now I don’t know how credible this rumor is, but if this is true I think he will be a 26 or 27 year old with a few years of eligibility left

I never knew about him until Saturday when I seen him rip faces off with his nasty cross faces. You always try to teach a kid to be mean when they wrestle but that guy u have is mean lol I enjoyed his match with kegan!

yesterday at 126 junior Elijah Brooks is one of the meanest most physical high school wrestlers I have ever seen. He is going to be a problem next year.

Going to be an awesome weekend, definitely one of the best off-season competitions the name gives it away I guess lol

I was at small school state a couple weeks ago enjoying the world famous pull pork sandwiches they were advertising with the $5 coach band. I began to talk with one of the officials at the event and found out he was new to reffing, maybe 2 years in and claim to be making $700 a week doing so. Working two dual meets and a tournament per week. can someone confirm that this is legit?

Crowning more state champions per weight class will raise number in the sport…… butttttt we should concentrate more of growing the sport at youth instead of high school. If you really want the sport to grow it starts with the kids. A 5 year old newbie will wrestle potentially 13 more year vs a high school freshman that will only be potentially in the sport for 4years.

I’m going to say it since nobody will! I like it how it is now…., keep 1a 2a state on the off-season just like frosh soph and it be okay. If anything keeping it on the off-season will promote off-season wrestling more to those smaller programs or just for everybody in general. There was 41 teams at 1a 2a state last week. I promise you that at least 80% or probably even higher then that have never competed at an off-season tournament in there life. Now not only did they go home but also there parents/ guardians went home knowing there is more out there in the wrestling world then just 4 months out of the year.

I just seen the part that you need to have a bronze certificate along with USA leadership membership. This is how it was last year.

Last year we attended iswa state at the agg building in indy for the cadet division. I think we was there from 8am until maybe 5pm not really sure. In the past how long does it take for the junior division to get done, since they are much smaller brackets?

Consistency and having an awesome support system is essential. And if you have the luxury to live within 30 min of a high quality training facility I salute you. Take advantage of it! over in the union county indiana area there is not alot of off-season training available. You have local rtc but that is not enough. We drive my brother usually and hour to an hour and a half into Ohio to train at prodigy, centerville Ohio and other places. I know the fosters from connersville make a drive to legends of gold. Phillips from centerville and others from that team travel to CIA.
