  1. Here is the story on why a lot of the Pizza Kings are different from each other. - Pizza King got its start as a small business in 1956. Wendell Swartz and his brother Bob opened the first location in Lafayette, Ind., where they developed the signature crust, sauce and toppings the restaurant is still known for today. But, after just a year, Wendell's brother decided he wanted to use a different business model. "So what they did was they divided the state," says Edward Bogan, growth and logistics director for Pizza King Inc. "Wendell took three-quarters of the state, and then his brother ended up getting roughly a quarter of it."
  2. Not many people from IN have went besides the team that went in the fall. Assuming you’re talking about your son in ND, he should definitely go. He will see the best of the best.
  3. Wrestled against those teams all the time back in the day, I am pretty sure I remember Yayha.
  4. Would of loved to see him comeback to try and snag a medal, but still a great career for him.
  5. Norris and Coppas really did find a groove at the end of the year, they will be big for them going forward. Also would love to see Joey go right away, dude is special.
  6. This isn't his first time not wrestling the backside in his college career either
  7. I guess so, I mean he’s wrestled on two torn acl’s before and his saying was “Excuses are for wussies”, wonder what changed this time?
  8. Saw some Iowa people saying he’s been hurt since mid-season. Sounds like this was all or nothing coming into it.
  9. Looks like anyone that picked Spenser at 125 while receive 6th place points, he’s MFF out of the tournament.
  10. For freestyle something I like putting into new wrestlers ear is finishing shots cleanly and not getting stuck underneath on their shots. Another thing is transitioning from takedowns to turns (after you show a lace and gut), obviously turns are different in freestyle but I think the mindset is the same (which is to keep scoring points.) IMO Indiana could always could get better at par terre as well.
  11. Filius actually has a decent shot to AA imo, he looked really good at Big Ten's. I have him winning his blood round over the Cornell kid who he beat earlier this year.
  12. Just saw where McGonagal is out now. * Just wanted to add that this will be huge for Jesse to now move to the 13 seed and get away from Vito. He will most likely wrestle McGee Thursday night as long as they both take care of business.
  13. https://www.trackwrestling.com/teamtournaments/MainFrame.jsp?newSession=false&TIM=1678652133941&pageName=%2Fteamtournaments%2FDualMeetWizard.jsp&twSessionId=qpjvuzymde When going to look at results of the dual make sure to scroll down a little. I wish the matches were archived as well!
  14. Just checked out some of the results from the All-Star dual today and looks like Indiana 1 takes out Illinois 1. Trackwrestling has Logan Farnell taking out #5 in the country Ethan Stiles who committed to Nebraska. Jaquan East barely lost to #7 in the country and a Stanford commit 7-6.
  15. 125- Lee/ Iowa/ 1 seed 133- Jesse Mendez/ OSU/ 13 seed 141- Beau Bartlett/ Penn State/ 6 seed 149- Max Murin/ Iowa/ 8 seed 157- Chase Saldate/ Michigan State/ 11 seed 165- Carson Kharchla/ Ohio State/ 10 seed 174- Carter Starocci/ PSU/ 1 seed. 184- Aaron Brooks / PSU/ 3 seed 197-Michael Beard/ Lehigh/ 5 seed 285- Greg Kerkvliet/ Penn State/ 3 seed *Wildcard All hail the Big Ten lol
  16. Bailey beat his upcoming opponent 6-0 at national duals.
  17. Jose Diaz (Wheeler) is also wrestling DII for Gannon after transferring from Franklin & Marshall.
  18. Javen Estrada (Crown Point) won his opening match at DIII Nationals for North Central as well. 3 guys with Indiana ties at 149!
  19. Ah yes I remember that. Especially with a bigger bracket we should see some different lineups.
