    Best this AC team has looked all year. Bumping the lineup even to fill spots. Prairie Heights looked unstoppable though. I think it's their year. Good luck Jets!

    The fans cannot fit into the expo. Really can't see anything in certain spots. Like to see it like the FW semi state.

    This is a great event and I enjoy it. However we need to be on the arena and not in the expo part. Hopefully next year that will work out.

    Haven't heard about Triton before or Knightstown in wrestling. Football but not wrestling. Schedules help but it's all about who wants it more on that day. Also helps to be able to matchup in lineups the way you want to. Why I love team duals more than individual results deciding team champions.

    138 for AC could be tough or it could be my little brother and not as tough. If he would spend some time during the summer he could be tougher. Still proud of him and this young Jet club.

    Whoa, a Bellmont guy is going to admit that. Have some pride and stay in Adams County with the smaller schools.

    All the complaining means we should just cancel these tournaments and have class individual tournaments during this time.

    Want to see Bellmont vs Yorktown. Classic matches in the past.

    Not as confident in this AC team like years past. A lot of youth and upperclassmen with little to no varsity experience in many spots. Still have to believe the BAGUBAS can get it done.

    Pretty strong kid. Still like to see Schoeneman come out again. We would be set at HWT either way. Schoeneman is an animal.

    They will definitely make some noise at the Team Duals and other events. Well deserved and will probably hold the crown for a few years.

    I was there lol. Maybe I'm just being too critical of how it looked. Just seems different from last year with his confidence.

    I'll say this, at AC we have to compete for the 1A team state and conference. Very few years will we compete for a sectional. There just isn't a big enough pool of athletes to have all our sports going. Wrestling is harder as it has weight classes and a lot of kids are at similar weights. Now if we combined AC with SA and Bellmont and had Adams County HS, we would be able to compete with everyone.

    I don't think it is as big of an issue as before. To me, he is not wrestling the same as before. I don't see much confidence in the young man. As for the team, they're young in some key spots and the lineup does have more holes than normal. The upperclassmen are not quite as experienced at the varsity level like normal as well.

    Right now for sure. I'm just saying something is going on with Mosser compared to last year. Actually something with the entire team. They just aren't the typical AC standard. It could be the only senior leadership is Bates. I don't think they'll do well at the state duals at all.

    Good win by Goodwin. Not sure what is going on with Mosser. Thought it might be weight control but watching tonight something else could be possible. Miller for SA looked good and I thought little Mosser did a decent job against him. Really impressed with the AC frosh Macklin. Best match was probably 220 competition wise.

    True but football is a bit different. I think the Mater Dei, Perry Meridian, Mishawaka, Merrillville, Bloomington South, and Bellmont teams to name a few enjoyed competing against each other annually in the single class team finals. A lot of good wrestling there.

    It's why I throw out the notion of both class events and single class. Class allows small schools to compete and grow the sport. Meanwhile keeping single class events allows for a true single champ and keeps the powerhouses happy.

    Do you think it would catch on if Freestyle and Greco-Roman were IHSAA or IHSWCA sponsored instead of AAU? Plus I think you'd have to modify some of the rules on the different styles as well.

    Definitely agree on that. I always bring up that we should create a 4th style called Combined Style that lasts 3 periods regardless of pin or tech fall in the first or second period. A period each of folkstyle, freestyle, and Greco-Roman.

    It is probably lack of communication that there is so much frustration. It was funny at our conference tournament. A former coach and long time official was a fan on Friday. He was giving an official the business and telling him he needed to get a new hobby. Afterwards, said fan was told he was officiating Saturday without prior notice. He mentioned the other official would not be there if that was the case.

    I think the last time I checked the Coaches tournament, they recognize 303 or so schools. Can anyone verify that? Following Adams Central as well as Bellmont and South Adams, I like having tournaments like the coaches but also liked the old team tournament. Ideally I'd like to see team duals both classed and one class. Same with individual tournaments. Keep the current and add a class individual tournament. Both with every step having wrestle backs all the way. You can get more schools and wrestlers involved but keep those classic Bellmont vs Yorktown matches with the old.

    Anyone know how the schedule would look making the Class team state duals into multiple rounds? Single elimination style compared to maybe having a super dual where you put teams into 2 groups of 4 with round robin? Should be able to do each round (sectional, regional, and etc) on a single day.

    Not what I wanted to hear. Good to see Indiana wrestlers doing well though. Definitely a J Robinson and Minnesota wrestling fan though.
