  1. I haven't spoken with him about it, but I'd assume 113.
  2. Konrath has been wrestling up as it has been more beneficial for the team. He has made, and wrestled, 113 multiple times.
  3. Yes, he did. I meant he hadn't been beaten this year...
  4. An undefeated, returning state champion being pinned, then avenging the loss within a week's time with a pin of his own is certainly worthy of its own thread.
  5. I really wish I wasn't on the opposite end of the state. I'd love to see Part III. No worries, man.
  6. I'm assuming Black got a TD in the 1st and an escape in the second. After the escape (3-0), shot in on a leg, which is when Reitz sunk in a reserve half of some sort and turned him for the fall. Am I right?
  7. Can we get a breakdown? How did Black score in the first? Does he just have something Reitz has a hard time fighting off? How did Reitz get the fall? I'm just really intrigued by these two trading pins like that.
  8. I've been unable to attend any events Reitz has wrestled in, but does anyone know if Ferguson has even been weighing in every week? I'm surprised this hasn't already been asked on here.
  9. Crazy. James Green is an animal. i don't follow Purdue Wrestling much at all, but does anyone know if he has any other quality wins this season?
  10. He certainly will. It will be a fantastic match.
  11. i know that. It was just my way of downplaying how good I think Paul is. As far as him hypothetically being the favorite at that weight, you're probably right.
  12. I could be missing something here, but why would any potential first round points really matter at the state tournament? Points are awarded to place winners. If you win your first round match, you are a place winner. If you lose, you are not and obviously wouldn't earn team points anyway. Yes, I understand point values differ depending on the manner in which a match is won, but I feel like throwing the first round out is a good thing for the team race because of the number of lopsided bouts that will inevitably occur in the first round. The number of place winners, and their respective placements, will likely be the determining factor.
  13. It'll be Reitz or Bailey, maybe Miller. I think I'd give the nod to Reitz, though. Experience under the lights is huge, especially when you've walked off with the W. Elliot has been beaten by one of said favorites. Egli took a loss to a kid that weighed in at 114.
  14. I'd say Cathedral is most likely to have multiple champs.
  15. Will we have a new default avatar if Reitz wins a second state title?
  16. Bethel made weight at 132 this past weekend. Doesn't necessarily mean that's where he'll be, but he has that option
  17. If you're asking if Duncan can wrestle with Lee, the answer is no.
  18. Saul Ervin wins whichever weight he ends up at. Konrath wins at 120. Lampe beats Stevenson. Kentucky gets two more champs, somewhere.
  19. I've got to imagine he"ll end up at 120.
  20. Does anyone know why they're no longer going to the Super Duals in Washington, IL??
