Paul Konrath is 3-0 and in the quarter finals and done for the day Kyle Cornwell 1-1 on the day... will wrestle in 2nd round of wrestle back tomorrow morning. Jacob Gray lost to 1 seed Jelani Embree 9-3 and in the first round of wrestle back tomorrow morning. (needs to win 2 to place top 8 in wrestle backs) Evan Ellis will wrestle in quarter finals tomorrow morning. (had a bye and a ff to start tourney) (beat PA 3rd place kid 7-0) No other Indiana kids here. -

Posted through 195 now... No other Indiana kids are seeded thus far. -
106 Ty Mills gets the 5 seed (his dad knows a lot more about him than me; wont be here) 120 Paul Konrath 3 seed Brock Hudkins 5 seed 132 Brayton Lee 2 seed (His twitter says he wont be here though) Ill update these for our Indiana wrestling junkies as they post more.

Coach Allen is a tremendous human being! He's a better motivator, and an even better coach! Iu football has not done many things correctly but they got this one right for sure! Congrats coach Allen -
Grand park in Westfield is supposed to be developing an indoor facility that will be used for soccer ice hockey and indoor baseball events (to my understanding) talking to the developer of the site and joshing communities around this area. Maybe we could reach out to them and see if the building is close to finishing? From what it sounded like, they were going to try and accommodate 15k people... Another venue at the Pepsi coliseum on 37th street; Ben Davis had their graduation there and I can assure you there are well over 5k people there lol The floor was huge as we had 1100 kids and admins on the floor with plenty of seating available to expand. Not sure on either sites pricing... I'm sure you have checked before but maybe these sites could be potential fits??? You guys did a great job... Thanks for growing the sport!!

Stevenson has been a heck of a rival for Lydy the last few years and it was incredible sad that the injury happened in a hard fought match between the two... Watching Stevenson compete this weekend shows the type of kid he is the support he has and the incredible program run in Franklin community. I wish he was 100 percent but unfortunately that didn't happen.. Good luck with your recovery Jacob!

Coach krulik is a stud. The guy is wrestling 24/7 and works his tail off to help improve an already dominate program! It's always fun hearing about his free climb stories all over the nation! (And a bit nuts, lol) he's a good friend and an even more fierce Competitor! Good luck to all teams this weekend and congrats to all coaches voted for these awards!! Go Giants! Coach gill

I am not sure of all the results. That information is still with tournament director, but I do know our (Ben Davis results): Ben Davis won the tournament and the results for us are as follows: 80-0 over Cloverdale 64-6 over Tri West 62-9 over South Putnam 48-13 over South Adams 46-23 over Whiteland. Ben Davis results should have updated per track wrestling. Working on that now to see why they weren't automatically posted.

I am pretty sure everyone to this point has heard that coach Goddard passed away Saturday afternoon. I just wanted to give everyone some information about his final services so whom everyone chooses to do so can come and attend. Wednesday 2/19/2014 from 4-8pm will be visitations at Mathews Mortuary in Brownsburg In. by the old McGilverys. Thursday 2/20/2014 from 10a-12p will be visitations in Greensburg at Gilliand-Howe funeral home. The funeral will immediately follow the visitation. Coach G and Mrs. Goddard have asked for (in lieu of flowers) donations be made to the Indy West Wrestling club, or to the YMCA in Greensburg, In. (For anyone who chooses to do so) If there are any additional questions please feel free to reach out to me, and I will try my best to get you an answer. Thanks, Gurpartap Gill

Norman Oglesby*** There were some issues at the meeting last night that should be addressed by all the coaches. We should share emails and get all the county coaches on which criteria we feel is the most fair and accurate way of separating the best kids. Once we have that list of criteria we should then take it to our ads. I think this could help us in the future to make sure that situations like this are not handled in the manner they were last night. There was a lot of hostility to the system and a lot of upset coaches but with the rules that were in place we weren't able to do anything. All of the coaches in the room seemed to have a valid point but unfortunately we weren't able to do anything. Luckily, norman and max didn't draw one another in the first round, but that was a possibility. Lets not raise hell and have no set plan as to what we would all like to see happen moving forward.

Guy Henson is a very underrated hard working, tough, smart, and capable wrestler. He should be much higher in the individual rankings than he is, but that will all fall in place. Guy should win the weight class and in my opinion going away with it. He gave Norman fits in the room for the last two years and is state place winner quality of a kid. With coach Blevins in the room mixing it up with Guy I am sure he has only progressed!!! Good luck Guy we love ya big fella get it done!
