2016- Evansville 106- Both Freshman Ticket Round At the time #1 Cayden Rooks vs. #8 Asa Garcia Future- 3x State Champ, 3rd vs. 2x State Champ, Runner Up 1st 0-0 after 1st period 2nd Cayden choose bottom 1-0 Cayden escapes 3rd Asa chooses bottom 1-1 Asa escapes 3-1 Asa takedown 3-3 Cayden reversal with 6 seconds OT - draw OT2 - Cayden get rode out OT3 - Asa reversal +2 and +2 backs with 17 seconds Final 7-3 Ty Mills (2x Runner Up & 2x 3rd) was in this bracket . Ty ends up winning this 2016 106 Semi State . A lot of things could of changed in this State Bracket if this Death Draw didn’t happen I believe. Would Cayden be a 4x State Placer . Would Cayden be a Semi Finalist that year Would Cayden get his rematch that year Wish I had video of this Semi State match, anyone has it please DM me .

I see your cycle, I just don’t think Indianapolis area is going to fall off anytime soon . Indianapolis Area has to many resources for these kids to train year round now . 4-5 Academies, not to mention the year club stuff schools are doing now days to keep kids active and wanting to do more during the Summer. The schools will rake the benefits of this in this area . These Academies have 4-6 year olds 50+ in their classes . That’s just 1 Academy near me . Who knows in the other Academies what their # are. Hendricks County is a Hot Bed for wrestling. This is just the beginnings of what’s to come to me . It’s pretty awesome watching it evolve. We’ll see I guess, time will tell .

@Perseverance Eric Allred, met you back in 2007 at Muncie Pal Club as we introduce our sons into this great sport of wrestling. Our sons brought us together in many ways . I’ll always remember you as Big E, Coach Gonzales called you that many times . As Big E told me, “who would of ever thought 2 Fathers from The Mean Streets of Muncie would have 5 State Championships together” You will always be a inspiration to me & my Family. The wrestling community lost a great Man, Father, Husband & Friend . God Bless You My Friend Rest In Peace I’ll add Perseverance was Eric, not only his screen name here but he lived his life as that word . Next time you hear the word Perseverance remember Eric Allred as it . Always was a fighter, he was born a Champion .
