  1. Not to rip him, but you'll do it anyway. Amazing how people get on here and use someones pain for their pleasure!. Myself on the other hand was impressed with all 16 kids from each weight class, as these young men and lady worked very hard to get to State, no matter where they placed or qualified. Regardless if a wrestler was "on their game" or not, each match at the state level is a dog fight with each wrestler wanting to continue and giving it their all. The fact is they are still young adults with a lot of emotions. Several great wrestlers were defeated prior to the finals, doesn't make them any less an athlete or competitor. My hats off to all of them and I wish them the best in their endeavors. As far as some of you simpletons posting these comments that might be hurtful to these kids, put your big boy pants on and hit the mat, until then, I'm not impressed!
  2. Not impressed with White Angel's comments! Obviously doesn't know Kaden and probably has never been on a mat or was the one who never made varsity, and is insecure about his self! Not impressed!
  3. As he has already posted, I wont say to much. However if you know Kaden, he would not post these things or approve of them. Kaden showed true heart and team unity today, his emotions were on a roller coaster ride due to his friend and team member losing minutes before the Honaker match. He collected himself and went on to wrestle like a champion. My hats off to him to put others first! Good luck to all at State!
  4. Wildmustanger, the best thing to keep in mind is, it all counts at the State Finals, under the lights, regardless of who is mentioned where or who isn't. It's a shame we put so much emphasis on these messageboards, however most are for fun and I understand that! If those wrestlers want some recognition encourage them to make sure they get to the "big show", because ones name is listed on a website prior to any finals, its speculation, not a guarantee.
  5. A great example of why we don't leave it up to the officials. Right or wrong call, you compete to the final whistle, especially if you already have a warning for stalling. Having said that, hopefully its a learning experience for both wrestlers and they will undoubtedly see one another soon. A great job by both!
  6. Champions always find a way to win, regardless of the score. So wether it be by 1 point or 15, a win is a win! Scores don't always indicate how the match was, as we all know!
  7. Although I enjoy reading the posts and other opinions, not quite sure why one gets overly excited about who is ranked where and who is over who. Keep in mind it all comes down to under the lights on Saturday night! If your ranked or one of your wrestlers, regardless if their ranked or not, they give no awards for being ranked during the season. "He who fears being conquered is sure of defeat"
  8. The tournament is a good one, however I also agree a few tweaks and it becomes a great one. My complaint would be parents and fans access to the floor and proximity to the wrestlers. I saw one fan ejected by an official. Keep them upstairs other than the concessions. ;D
