  1. Ferguson is fantastic. I really don't see him losing to Smith this year. We will see in a few weeks.
  2. There is a difference between threatening to score and getting in on a leg. Craig will be good but for now Johnson is far superior
  3. What about that match was good to watch. Johnson dominated him. There was never a threat by the Reitz wrestler to score. It was terribly boring in my opinion but maybe I'm wrong. I will say the Reitz 120 did a nice job of not getting turned
  4. I'm not saying the kid can't do it, but to get on here and guarantee that he will be top 8 is crazy. I wish the kid the best and hope he stays healthy, wrestles his butt off and does the best he can. Again, I'm not saying he can't. Everybody has a shot, some a better shot than others. Yes, kids can and do read this. Somebody should remember that when they are planting a target on a kids back. Just let him wrestle and prove to everyone how good he is. We don't have to hear it from someone else.
  5. The Caveman is correct. T Ferg started on fire and was up 6-0 before Sinkovics started to battle back. Final score was 7-4 if I remember correctly and Sinkovics was starting to roll. I'm not sure how it would have ended if there were three two minute periods. I still believe that Ferguson will finish top 4 this year.
  6. Top 8 at sectional or regional? You surely don't mean Top 8, as in on the podium at Banker's Life do you? Do you have any idea how tough that weight class is? Come on man, enough of the hype.
  7. 20 to 30 seconds is pretty quick. I agree he ends up with a fall, but it might take a period or two. It's tough to stick somebody in 30 seconds, especially in a rivalry match. We will see tonight.
  8. I think what it really means is he will be going 160 come sectional time. I guess that means Vinny is dropping to 152. Is Larsen dropping to 145 and Harvey to 138? We will know for sure in a couple of weeks.
  9. MD may not score 63. Reitz won't give up that many pins, but Teitz may not get 7 either. I'll take Jourdan over Davis. Definitely the match of the night though
  10. So Brescher is back up and going. That's good. Hope he's 100% before tournament time. I would think he's still the favorite at 145 if he's wrestling
  11. And that was freestyle which doesn't always translate the same in Folkstyle. I would still take Lecount over Vinny in a close one. I think I might take Forte too. Of course they would all have to be the same weight and they aren't so it doesn't really matter does it?
  12. Those are a couple of impressive wins for Karges. What is his overall record and who has he lost to and who, of note, has he beat?
  13. I don't know what you call respectable but to me 44-16 is not
  14. I think that scores just validates Yorktown's decision to wrestle 2A.
  15. He might be rethinking that after wrestling Lee
  16. I would think Batts would fall in somewhere between 3 and 5, but definitely top 8.
  17. Will there be any masks worn? I can see Macke going all Bill "Superstar" Dundee.
  18. Will that be a no holds barred tag team cage match? I remember Leek from the old days, but my money would be on the Schaefer/Pierre duo.
  19. Ferguson will be on the podium. How high is the only question.
  20. Marbach is having a good year, but has he wrestled or beat anyone ranked ahead of him? Just curious.
  21. Exactly. I think Franklin and Penn both proved Perry is not the #1 dual meet team
  22. Anybody have match by match results? Sounds like a great dual
  23. There will be no beat downs given by any of them. If it comes down to Micic and Lee it will be a very tight, technical match. I don't see either of them beating the other by more than a few points. I'll go 5-2, Lee wins it.
