  2. I coached a kid last year for 8th grade, but he chose not to wrestle in high school this year. His dad keeps telling me that he'll be at all our home meets this year because he is now addicted to the sport. I love how wrestling affects people.
  3. The Eastside JH wrestling team finished 2nd at the conference tournament Friday behind Garrett. The Blazers fell 6 points short 241 to 246. The Blazers had twelve wrestlers in the finals with 7 bringing home titles. Place finishers were: (80) Cameron Cook 3rd(85) Treyven McKinley 1st(90) Codi Davis 1st(100) Seth Burns 1st(105) Blake Rowe 1st(110) Riley Thompson 2nd(115) Laik Minnick 1st(120) Cable Leeper 3rd(125) Blake Munsey 3rd(130) Logan Hegerfeld 3rd(135) Logan Johnson 1st(140) Alejandro Davis 2nd(145) Gavin Fritch 2nd(152) Nathan Rodman 3rd(160) McCullough Baysden 1st(189) Chase Leeper 2nd(215) Andrew Steffen 2nd The Blazers finished the season 11-2 in dual meets, Fremont Invite Champions, and Central Noble Invite runner-ups.
  4. The Blazers finished 2nd to Indian Springs in this individual tournament 314 to 302. Eastside had 5 champions and 5 runner-ups, 1 third, 4 fourths, 1 fifth, and 1 sixth.   15. Eastside Blazer wrestling is praying for a speedy recovery of all injuries. May God wrap his healing hands around this young woman and help Austin recover from his injuries quickly.
  16. What's your guess on Beard@285 being able to knock off Walker or Stauffer? I know he's already lost to Stauffer but was able to go 3 periods unlike last year. He'll face Walker towards the end of the regular season.
  17. Eastside Junior/Senior High School is looking for schools that would be interested in an individual tournament on Saturday February 11, 2012. Looking for schools located close to northeast Indiana. If your school is farther away and willing to travel we'd love to have you too. Schools that are interested can either contact myself, Craig Davis, or the athletic director Mr. Willard. This is a first for us and would like to have as many teams as possible.
