    Who would have won "Team State" by individual performances that state the last 4 or 5 years? Do the champions go along with the actual dual team champions of the previous years? (Example: Did PM score the most points in Individual State as a team?, guessing not)

    Ok, was hoping for the division rankings. I know its just coaches picks but it gets the smaller school kids excited to see how their team compares to other schools near their size. Now if only the coaches could get a classed team state figured out... hmm

    If I was one of the top in the state, I would shoot for 182 to take him out to quiet his father down a bit.

    Since Fargo is now over, I figured maybe we could revisit this topic... In order to possibly have a classed team tourney not directed by the IHSAA in the '12-13' school year, wouldn't we need to start this push at the beginning of this school year? As said before, scheduling would be the biggest foe, but it could start out small before all schools step in. Once it is started I believe it would open many eyes from the whole state. It could also bring community support. More support = a potential growth of wrestling in this state. Our freestyle progress has rose from our Fargo participants. I think this is would be key to get more participants in HS. Just my opinion... Will this be brought up in the next IHSWCA meeting?

    PSU has the Alton boys @ 41 and Mollinaro @ 49... it'd be hard for him to fit there.

    Maybe if everyone can band together and get a classed IHSWCA tourney, then more teams could see the "team" side 0f the sport. In our conference, winning the conference tourney is HUGE because theres very small chance to take sectionals becuase of the larger schools, let alone to dream about state. Its very rare to have more than 2 teams, if any, with a full roster going into the conference meet. Getting a chance to take a trip to State as a TEAM would be huge in any of the communities in our conference. ...but back to the topic; Congratulations to Perry Meridian and their success. It's great to have a team with that much success in Indiana. IT strives other programs to get better and catch them!

    If in the future there is a classed team state system, it would show their true potential vs. their ranking. Do any of those ranked 1A schools wrestle any of the other 1A schools that are ranked from other semi-states currently?

    1A - Fountain Central - Returning 5 Reg. Qualifiers, 4 Semi-St Qualifiers, and 1 State Qualifier...no seniors on last years team, should be pretty tough once again.

    The Wellington Honey Badgers and the Coxsville Pussywillows should both have awesome teams this coming year!
