I give everything to the wrestler from munster, he knew he had to be defensive to make it close. That was the game plan if not he would of shot for the legs maybe once. Great match, that wrestler from LN is technically better than ev ery wrestler in that tournament . IF YOU WANT TO BEAT HIM, do what you are doing but take a chance sometime during the match, if you lose because of it oh well . Boston is the real deal and the Munster boy did fantastic. They will meet again.

I agree that Phillips is the heavy favorite and I could say 4x state champ. I just wondered if anyone took that extra step to contend with him.

I agree I saw him overpower the other guy.

I know Cody Phillips is a 2X state champ but has the gap narrowed with Petrov and Brooks. Both look very strong.

i watched the match today and the munster boy did a fantastic job of playing defense against a better wrestler. I saw it last year when Jackson and t-shirts wrestled. :play defense and you will keep it close. Boston is good, He will be a 4 time champ.

The region has produced some good wrestlers the last couple of decades and as names change the rivalry stays the same. This rivalry goes deeper than some of the matches in the state. The intensity has already begun and the build up will be greater than the outcome . I would rate this mathup like a semi-state football game. All the wrestlers have worked hard and all the wrestlers have been in tight situations before. Does not matter the outcome cause it is a win win situation. The regions 2 top teams square off and both teams benifit from the talents on both squads. The better these two programs get the higher the quality of wrestlers in NWI we will have. M-ville and CP, does not get any better.

Love your loyalty to who comes out of Marion County,that is what it is all about. Have a strong feeling CP is only going to get stronger with Bil Hawkins and Alex Tsirtis running the Bulldog feeder program.

I would to! I Know I said 9 s/q but that is my opinion. They may only get 5 or 6. I just think when your rated number 1 you have to pull your own wieght and improve every week. That will help you in your individual matches in the tourney. It also helps when the #3 in the country and #1 AT 145 in the state practice in the same room as you.

What do you rank good or great? If CP does happen to win it all as a team, do they have to win every match in a dual to be great. CP is very solid top to bottom and they are going to come across teams with better wrestlers in some weight classes. You can't compare this team with the State team until the final team match of the season. Hope everyone stays healthy because CP has a chance to have 9 State Qualifiers.

CP and M-ville will come down to the wire, the heat of the battle will bring the best out of each wrestler. No gimmies here, except tristis and roach. Can't wait till the new year. Jan 5 at CP will be rockin.

From what I saw in Kral he is very talented, Big and strong and agile. There is also a wrestler by the name of shrewsbury I believe he is a freshman wrestling 171 and he is a very talented kid. 189 Langbehn is also a very solid wrestler. CP will be very tough to beat, should be interesting when CP and Merriville hook-up.
