  1. That was well stated. I am still proud of EVERY wrestler that hit the mat at Center Grove on Saturday. During the season they had to have worked their a$$es off to make it that far! Some came and gave a little bit more than others, but overall each one came, and hopefully, gave their ALL!
  2. Oh well..... can't win 'em all.
  3. Well said, Coach Weimer. And to you....thanks to you (and Coach Williams, and Coach Gunn, Coach Nelsen, and Coach Douglas -- and ALL of the LNHS Wrestling Coaches. You guys did a great job for a great season. It's gonna be bittersweet just knowing that Jeremy (and all the other Seniors) represented their Wildcat pride on the mat for the last time on Saturday. I couldn't be more proud of the Wildcats wrestlers and coaches. You guys are outstanding -- not just as coaches -- but as role models, friends, and confidants (on AND off the mat)! Pat yourselves on the backs for a job very well done this season! Hats off to each of you!
  4. Do you not see the " "? They were virtually ruled out to make it to the finals - less known the championship match! I am a proud Wildcat Mom of this year's 189 County, Conference, Sectional & Regional Champion and LOOOOOOVE LNHS wrestlers! Trust me -- I know all about them and their accomplishments.
  5. Love it when the "little dogs" have to prove something to the "big dogs." Great job in making it to the finals, Wildcats! You guys deserved it!
  6. Don't EVER rule out a team that you "know" you are going to beat - that team has the exact same goal in mind as your team when they hit the mat - TO WIN! Douthitt was a beast! Brandenstein may have been the hero in his match against CP and maybe he shucked off LN's Douthitt...... woe is him -- didn't pay off!
  7. Great job, Brandon Douthitt! LN Wildcats proved a LOT of folks wrong yesterday! Good job by ALL the wrestlers!
  8. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family. My son, Jeremy, is a wrestler at LN and he told me about it last night. Jeremy said he would pray for Kyle and his family, because he knows first hand how this feels! Jeremy's dad passed away right before Sectionals last year. My prayers are with the family and friends of Kyle. Crying may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning. Be faithful and know that you'll find strength to endure.
  9. Worse group of officials I've EVER seen at a SS meet! Most of them were HORRIBLE!
  10. Lawrence North won! Cathedral, second place
  11. I'm excited about this year's sectionals. Last year my son only got to wrestle 2 matches, then he had to forfeit the rest so he could get to his dad's funeral. Hopefully, this year's sectionals will be good for him. Good luck to him and ALL the wrestlers at the LC sectional tomorrow!
  12. Haskett did not wrestle Mish's 189, Douthitt did. Haskett bumped up to 215.
  13. Haskett won. He actually went 5-0 at the tournament. He had 4 pins and a major. Pinned Mishawaka's kid @ 215, although he wrestles 189.
