The Genius Posted September 21, 2023 Share Posted September 21, 2023 Dadmarz defeats Uzun 3-0 in a huge upset! He got quite lucky. Passivity point in first period to lead 1-0. Then in the second period it looked like Uzin pushed him out but Iran challenged, claiming a singlet foul. Jury agreed and awarded Dadmarz 2 caution pts, and Dadmarz won 3-0. Uzun is the reigning Euro Champ who teched everyone (including Azizli) in that tournament, so this is a huge win for Dadmarz. Unfortunately for him, he faces Azizli in the SF. But if he can beat Uzun there is no reason why he can't beat Azizli. 3/4 of day 1 GR wrestlers make the SF (Dadmarz, Mohmadi and Mirzazadeh). Good start. We need to win the GR team title.
