What just happened to Mirzazadeh on Mat C? He was next on Mat C on the Flo Arena but he didn't show up on the stream and now the arena is saying a different match is on Mat C

I think they’re waiting for the last weight class to finish. I can still see the Iranian and Lithuanian flag in Mat C

They do the quarter final matches of the same weights at the same time. A couple matches still left on mat D before Mirzazadeh will wrestle.

That leg foul came at such a lucky time lol. I was expecting them to call passivity on Dadmarz but I guess there wasn't enough time. Well done to Dadmarz.

I don’t think it was leg foul I think he pulled singlet. Dadmarz worked his ass off after that to not concede the passivity.

Was it a leg foul or a singlet grab? I couldn’t hear anything the challenge announcer said.

Dadmarz defeats Uzun 3-0 in a huge upset!

He got quite lucky. Passivity point in first period to lead 1-0. Then in the second period it looked like Uzin pushed him out but Iran challenged, claiming a singlet foul. Jury agreed and awarded Dadmarz 2 caution pts, and Dadmarz won 3-0.

Uzun is the reigning Euro Champ who teched everyone (including Azizli) in that tournament, so this is a huge win for Dadmarz. Unfortunately for him, he faces Azizli in the SF. But if he can beat Uzun there is no reason why he can't beat Azizli.

3/4 of day 1 GR wrestlers make the SF (Dadmarz, Mohmadi and Mirzazadeh). Good start. We need to win the GR team title.

The Japanese guy who beat MA Geraei is actually quite solid.

Yeah, he just teched Lomadze lol.

But he has to beat Makhmudov to pull MA Geraei back in, which is a long shot, and even if he does Geraei would then have to beat Makhmudov to medal. So either way, no medal

I think he medalled at u23 Asians or worlds before but he’s wrestling out of his skin today. Any chance he can do us a solid with a huge upset against Akzhol…
