Although there is much to celebrate about this historic legislation, we as wrestling fans know Title IX had some unintended consequences on our sport. I would love to hear some input from the wrestling community with the regard to how impactful Title IX was on eliminating programs at the collegiate level. I've heard varying degrees with regard to how many programs were cut due to Title IX. Others say that AD's used Title IX to cut programs that did not generate any revenue for the university.
