I am waiting on those to change some of my predictions after seeing more on hagerstown as well as winchester and centerville yesterday and some changes in weight classes. Yes I picked some upsets but just because a kid won the first time around doesn't mean it will happen the next time! Crazier things have happened!! Agree with most of that but dont sell Milliron short. Even though I even have Terriquez placing higher than him thats only because he already beat him once this year. It wouldnt be a shock to me if milliron beats him though. In fact, Milliron had Fuller on his back for awhile and just about pinned him a not even a couple weeks ago if not for Fullers strength...and I dont think Terriquez is as strong as fuller. I just thought it was funny. And i know you say this because you can not get over that Fuller beat Port. Why is it so impossible. Fuller beat port as a freshman, then as a sophomore he weighed in at 120 and bumped up to 130 to wrestle Port got a concussion in the 1st period, finished the match and lost 7-0. then looses 7-6. then wins 8-6. But somehow it is a fluke, refs fault, timers fault, i've even seen people on other threads blame the person who is suppose to throw the towel in, for Richmonds losses. First I never said that it was impossible in fact that is far from the truth. I made the comment to others that if he had not ran out of gas in the 3rd period in the first meeting this year he would have had a chance to win and I also said that I wouldnt be suprised if he won this past Saturday if the situation occured, which it did. What others have said I have no control over, did I think there were a couple questionable calls in the latest match sure but you didnt hear me say that was the reason for outcome. Or individuals? In taking a good look at the match-ups, and the seeding, i see that in 7 wgt classes Unco is seeded ahead of unci, and in 7 unci is seeded ahead of unco. But a swing match i see is at 138 Stansberry VS Ring. That can go either way in my opinion. and i do not believe the looser of that match places. Also i dont know what the score of the Milliron vs Terriquez match was a couple weeks ago but if that were to swing in Centervilles favor, it would benefit the Patriots. I also see where i might go as far as to to say locks for unci at 145 and 160, but unco finishes right behind them in 2nd. unci possibly gets shut out at 106, 120, 126, and 138, i also see the Calderon vs unci match at 195 to be huge for unci. and unco 220 lber place 4th they wont get shut out there but unco could get shut out at 138, 170, 182 and as i said 220. Pay attention saturday, there WILL be some upsets of seeded kids. just where and what affects will it have on the tourney, IMO i have unco winning the TEC by less than 20 pts over unci with centerville 3rd hagerstown 4th, winchester 5th, northeastern 6th, lincoln 7th and tri 8th.
