Southport High School Saturday, October 29, 2011 Registration & Weigh-ins: Thursday, October 27th from 6:00-8:00 pm. @ Southport High School Satellite Registration ? weigh in must be emailed by 8:00p.m. 10/27/11 - Contact Todd Weaver for registration forms. No Saturday Weigh-ins!!!!!! Awards: Weight and age checks will be made if questioned 1ST, 2ND, and 3RD Place MEDALS Start Times: Check-ins and Doors open @ 7 am. Clinic starts at 8 am. Entry Fee: HYWAY Members $12.00 Non-Members $15.00 CASH ONLY!!!!!! Admission: $4.00 12yrs.and older, $2.00 elementary children, $2.00 Cooler Fee Proof of age will be required if wrestler is challenged within the first two rounds of competition. A birth certificate is the only form of validation that will be accepted. Modified High School Rules ? Must be in grade K-12 ? After a takedown, top wrestler gets a chance at a turn. If no turn occurs, then wrestlers start back neutral. ? Grades K-8th: one, 3 minute period ? Grades 9-12: one, 4 minute period ? Singlets or t-shirt and shorts are required. ? If less than three wrestlers are in a weight class, the tournament has the right to move them up one weight class (in the same age group) except for heavyweight. Weight Classes & Age Groups: GRADES 1-2, 3-4, 5-6, 7-8 Weight Classes will be blocked. 9-12 New High School weight classes will be used. Only two coaches per mat. Any person operating video equipment on the mat will be considered one coach.
