ENoblewrestling
If a wrestlers skin problem form says may return to wrestling on a certain date is that the same as it saying not contagious?
grecoref
No!!!!! The form must state it is not contagious!!! And even then the referee has the right to overrule the note if the condition has spread or worsened. Tom Clark IHSAA Rules Interpreter
formerwrestler
Isn't there supposed to be a form for "non-contageous" skin conditions like Eczema? I have a wrestler that has it on his inner elbow, and some weeks it looks worse than others based on various factors, but I'd hate for him to be unable to wrestle, because his current "7 day form" is not up to date? Thanks, formerwrestler
cbarnett
The doctor can provide a note stating that the skin condition is a chronic problem (such as eczema, psoriasis, etc). The note should state where on the body the condition is located and should define the condition. I believe that these type notes are good for one year, thus it would be good for the entire wrestling season.
