Not to pile more work on you but is this a RECORD number of AAs from Indiana?

43 seems to be much more than I remember...and I believe the attendance out there this year was a record...nearly 2,700 participants.

Yes! I beleive this was the biggest year ever for attendance. In 2008, Indiana had 40 All-Americans including 5 national champions. The number of Indiana All-Americans is growing each year.

Infolady,

Thanks for the time you spent putting this list together.  The way trackwrestling has it set up makes it very hard to follow the wrestlers from Indiana.  Congratulations to all Indiana Folkstyle All Americans.  This was my 1st time out there and I had a great time.

I, too, was very pleased and impressed by the attendance and success of the Indiana wrestlers.  As an official I was able to witness some very good wrestling and many times Indiana wrestlers were in the middle of the action, occasionally against each other.  When I was setting out, it seemed as though, I was able to spot an Indiana wrestler on a mat at any given time.  Ironically, the first match on Friday and the last match on Sunday that I officiated each involved Indiana kids.  I'd like to give my appreciation to all the coaches and parents that made the trip out to Iowa and a big thanks and congratulations to the wrestlers who represented Indiana so well!
