TheAncientElder
The Madman of Mooresville wrestling? returned to the tournament that he created in 1971. Randy Qualitza visited the Mooresville Holiday Classic wrestling tourney for the opening round of the tourney on Tuesday. The tournament started in 1971 as an eight-team tourney as has continued to evolve. It has gone to sixteen teams (probably as big as it should get for the facility) and has moved to four other venues before returning home. It tried a team tournament format in ?95 but was not what the wrestling community wanted and returned to the individual format in ?96. The original champions were: 1971-72 098 Ron Bean Mooresville 1971-72 105 Cedrick Reicken Mt. Vernon 1971-72 112 Jon Howson Whiteland 1971-72 119 Gene Loomis Mooresville 1971-72 126 Randy Fox Lebanon 1971-72 132 Mark McGuire Mooresville 1971-72 138 Bill Galloway Whiteland 1971-72 145 Ed Gipson Danville 1971-72 155 Kerry Wilson Brownsburg 1971-72 167 Bill Atwood Mooresville 1971-72 185 Warren Grubb Mooresville 1971-72 Hwt Tim Beck Center Grove TheAncientElder (TAE) The Imperial Potentate and Grand Poobah of Classless wrestling in Indiana.
