I"m hopeful that Garrett Weber will do well at 170. He has won the ISWA state championship 6 times and won against many of the top 10 ranked wrestlers. He will need to wrestle well and be prepared for every match.

Garrett had a tough match with Tony the first time after rolling out of a first period pin. I believe Garrett will be more prepared this week. That's crazy to think Linnear could major Garrett unless he really screwed up on funky moves.

That Cowardly Lions team did good with two champs and advanced eight.

Isaac Steury from Leo is 21-0 at 160 lbs thus far.

The 169 weight class in ACAC this year. My son will definitely have some very tough wrestlers on Saturday. I'm praying that he will do well. Go Leo!!!

Garrett Weber from Leo was 5-0 with 5 pins. Total time for all pins combined was 5 minutes 42 seconds. He had a great tournament...proud dad.

Was there an outstanding wrestler named at the Yorktown Duals? Is this award given to the wrestler with the most pins in the least total accumulated time?

Correction to results...Leo beat Northrop 66-9.

Tough to pick a favorite this year. I think Garrett, South Adams, Adams Central, and Leo all have a shot. As for top wrestlers, I think Josh Ehr will place high at state this year.
