School is Back ! Is the Class of 22 ready for their last ride ?

Jake was 3-2 with a much bigger state champ Jackson in the third at Disney. Was on bottom and got to his feet. Instead of backing out and tying it up he dropped for a shot and got pinned. My point is that he was right there. He’s tough! -
I would like to bring up another big difference that I noticed after watch the two events in the past 24 hours. Internationally.. those dudes worry less about ties and more about footwork, down blocking (blocking in general), staying in front and not giving up anything til they are ready to get an angle and score. Footwork is the biggest difference. You have to earn every point. Thus less points scored too.

Not sure... I guess the biggest difference is the time which is allowed in par terre is a lot more in the USA. You get way less time internationally to make a turn. I personally like the product that we have here in the USA. With that said, I think we should conform to the rest of the world for development reasons. But... USA is pretty damn good right now.

Been watching cadet worlds this morning. So different from Fargo. Refs just blow the whistle constantly at worlds. Never realized how big the difference was. Not sure how that effects our kids. Just an observation.

Looks like Zeke was given a forfeit and will bring home 5th place.

Carroll got down 8-0 in quarters. Came back like the beast that he is to win 15-10. Great match indiana tied for 1st in points.

Juniors are killing it. Indiana tied for 3rd in points right now.

Veazy was down by two with 5 seconds left and pulls out a take down and turn to win by 2. Amazing match kid! Needed that win to secure AA status.

Big win by Zeke was down by criteria with seconds left and gets the takedown in round of 32. Great match

Your the man! That’s awesome. I wrestled in that tournament bout 10 years back. Got beat by a couple of collage kids and picked up a pin. next year… your winning it buddy!

Ranker from intermat contacted me and stated that he will or is on the freshmen big board there. Too cheap to buy a subscription to all the rankings, so... can someone give that a look? Well deserved... I’m sure he will continue to move up.

Yes PaPa.... Great kids!!!!!!! Just glad that the kids don’t know anything about all of these comments. I can say that Gunner, Veazy, and Brewer were all talking this weekend and enjoying seeing each other. Bigger incoming guys that did very well and had fun. That’s what’s up. Who cares about the BS. Can’t wait to see what the future holds for Gunner and Veazy.

For some reason... Perry was moved from the gold bracket. Will join Franklin Community and Terre Haute on the same side of the silver bracket.

Brownsburg, Perry, Columbus East, and Warren all make the gold pool. Brownsburg with the number one seed. Indiana getting it done.

Kid was lights out. I had a National ranker contact me about him. Look for him to hit the freshman big board(s) this season.

Yeah... some bad math cost us (the middle schoolers) that dual. Could have easily took second. Kids represented the state well.

Lots of good Indiana Middle schoolers on team USA. Team is seeded 2nd in medals bracket. Wrestling in quarters now.

Nope. Stronger than ever. The next group of kids coming up are VERY good and deep. Looking forward to many more years of you trolling! Honestly.. the whole thing came from a text between @DLane@JMILL@TeamGarcia and me. The goal was to create a thing to promote (in a spoof kind of way) our area and to ruffle feathers. It really is crazy that people (such as yourself) keep it a thing. Im a huge fan of the Center Grove and Franklin programs. Many friends at both schools. Definitely a great county and getting better (due to great coaches). I look forward to going to the Mooresville regional for many years and seeing all of these studs getting after it. Congrats to Drake and Jacob. Go get them in Fargo boys!
