    You are so right! I think sometimes we get wrapped up in the entire thing. I can just make a sure bet on one kid that won't be a state champ this year. Maybe next year but just not this one! **disclaimer ** Talking about my own child no one elses.

    Has anyone else realized that the first round of Isteps is this week of folkstyle states and the second round starts April 26 the week od freestyle and greco states? Is anyone else's kid a tad torn between practices and sleep etc....My husband and I are in conflict whether our son should go to practice or be in bed early for isteps. My son is an excellent student and a wrestler that NEEDS practice. How are other parents coping with Isteps and states? I hope next year they won't fall like this. I am truly concerned, both mean a lot to my son. ???

    I really just want to say we went to 2 tournaments this weekend one of them being Pendleton (Arabian wrestling). This was a well ran tournament. It was at a new location this year that was beautiful! My hat is off to Jennifer and Lorrie and Coach Cloud for a well run tournament.

    We love Indy Nationals. Well run tournament! Younger kids in the morning and novice and up in the evening! If I am not mistaken they place 1st through 4th. 1st has an awesome trophy the medals are custom and very nice! Great matches and very smooth!

    I was thinking the same thing . I am in bed filling out paperwork for this weekend! New Pal is the one that gives me cause to pause because of last year,maybe we should fax to more then one and then call if we are not going???? I have no clue!

    I 100% agree! Even though my son had a rough day to say the least, I am always impressed by anything Red Cobra does. We will be back for future events. Great Job!!!

    Thanks so much after states and after speaking to Coach Red we will be heading to Red Cobra. Right now PJ is sick with that nasty strep that is going around so we will start next week. Thanks everyone!!! I am still begging these private clubs to please try another location in the Hamilton County area we would all love one around here I have spoke to several people!!!! Please Please Please Please Please Until Red Cobra opens a gym closer I guess we will be hitting the road!!!!

    Thank You to everyone , we spoke to coach Red today at States. He is a very nice man to speak to . So we will be trying Red Cobra!!! FYI to wrestling programs The Westfield Area is in need of a private club . So please there are a lot of boys that would love to join these wrestling powerhouse clubs in the area, the travel is what gets to a lot of us out in the Westfield/Noblesville/Carmel area. So please those of you who are thinking of second locations give Hamilton county a try you will be suprised! We can't wait to be part of Red Cobra!!! Thanks Coach Red for speaking with us.

    Congrats to you both! We parents get caught up in the moment! I am a mom of a 9 year old intermediate 112llber. For you to come out and right the wrong takes a big man! My son today didn't even place and it took a lot for me not to be angry. My son was hurt and mad at himself because of things my husband and I have been drilling in his little head all week. When we got back to the hotel he swam and played and he finally said that this was one of the best days of his wrestling life. What I am saying is most of this kids will have so much fun just being there and doing their best! Which is what went on with my son! Anyway Congrats for getting to the 3rd place match, we are all proud of you too. Hope to see you at Red Cobra , we spoke to Coach Red today and my son with be joining the proud club! Dad don't be to hard on yourself! Have a great evening!

    I am really curious on the Intermediate 112 group. My son is in that division and he has wrestled 2 of the boys one at Nationals and one in Pendleton. Any insight!!

    #1 Will there be a cooler charge? #2 My son is being coached by my husband and I we have our USA coaches membership will that be ok for a coaches arm band ? My son is only 9. #3 Is there only 1 gym? #4 Are there any special concession or activities where I am going to need a lot of cash to keep my kids entertained? #5 Where will brackets be posted? #6 Is there any info any seasoned coaches/parents etc can give some newbies to get us through?? Thanks!!!
