  1. Southmont's projected line up: 103-Tyler Deaton 112-Dylan Rogers 119-Dan Barrett 125-Landon Nave 130-Steven Simpson 135-Vince McCaslin 140-Dakota Davis 145-Josh Poynter 152-Austin Long 160-Cole Wills 171-Cody Haslam 189-Chris Smith 215-Jordan Phillips Hwt-Chandler Burkhardt
  2. This is a lose/lose situation for everyone involved including the sport of wrestling. Both of their attitudes, in my opinion, are disheartening. Jordan's ignorant comment about "putting smiles on people's faces" proves his immaturity and hubris. Personally, I think these guys are either incredibly stupid combined with having no sense of morality or they're a little light in their loafers.
  3. I'm not sure if putting picutres of Obama helps or hurts your argument. Being a community organizer on the South Side, it only makes sense he's a Sox fan. For anyone who has ever been to the South Side, they know it doesn't hold a candle to the North Side. Same goes for U.S. Nextel Verizon Wireless Cellular. Wrigley is second to none when it comes to watching a professional baseball game. Yes, you get some yuppies from time to time at Wrigley but that just shows the popularity of the ballpark. I can't stand them but there's nothing you can do about it. Plus, I'd rather have yuppies than white trash scumbags like the ones who jumped the Royals first base coach a couple years back. Basically, what it comes down to is the fact that Sox fans know their rooting for the "other" team in Chicago and they can't stand it. As for the 100 year drought...THIS IS THE YEAR!!! If not....WAIT TILL NEXT YEAR!!!!
  4. For all you Sox fans out there, I'll end it with this... A St. Louis Kindergarden teacher asked her students if the Cardinals were their favorite baseball team and they all raised their hands except Billy. When asked who his favorite team was, Billy responded, "The Cubbies". The teacher asked, "Why the Cubs and not the Cardinals?", and Billy chimed, "Well my mom is a doctor and my dad is a lawyer and they both went to school in Chicago." Taken aback by his answer the teacher asked, "Well what if your mom was a prostitute and your dad was a drug dealer?" Billy answered "That's easy...we'd be White Sox fans."
  5. Does anyone know why Grajales (FL) or the Ohio kid (David ????) didn't wrestle?
  6. "Rooting for the White Sox is like watching Saving Private Ryan and rooting for the Nazi's." --A wise Cubs fan
  7. Nathan Whitlow (Southmont) was also an All American finishing 5th place at 152.
  8. Congratulations Bulldogs! As a former CP wrestler, it's good to see my alma mater making some waves on the state scene. Coach Vlink has been at it for many moons and this is well deserved. Looking at the team scores, it was a total team effort to beat three quality teams. Congrats again to all CP wrestlers and coaches. It's a good day to be a Bulldog.
