    Just wondering what peoples thoughts were on the development of an Northern Indiana Elite wrestilng room. I know Indy has 3 or 4 great options for elite wrestlers to train. Does anyone think this would go over well in the Mishawaka/Elkhart area? Thoughts and opinions?

    I agree with Coach Peck.....Community team and multiple community teams. Great ideas!!

    We ran 2 Elementary Duals last year and both went very well. I think a duals state tournament could be another great opportunity to build team unity and develop your feeder system. I think the two division format works best, meaning an 8 and under division and a 6th grade and under division. School teams could be separate from year around training facilities.

    Team Indiana Brawlers took 8th Place in Tennessee. The boys wrestled great and it was an honor to have such fine young men on the Brawlers team this year. It was a fun and exciting weekend of wrestling! We also had 8 All-Americans which included: Austin Gonzales Owen Perkins Evan Ellis Jacob Gray Bryce Baumgartner Jacob Hendrich Evan Stambaugh Luke Radtke Great Job Brawlers!!

    HYWAY continues to improve what they are doing. The state tournament ran well. We were out of there by 4 and there was a lot of quality wrestlers there. The medals that were given to the kids were sweet. A huge improvement on the medals from last year. Obviously there is always room for more improvement, I feel like this years tournament was a big improvement on last years. Great job Andy! ;D

    You can never start planning to soon! Last year NorthWood hosted two elementary duals. Both duals had great success and it was a lot of fun for the kids and provided a great experience. We would like to take our team to others schools if they are interested hosting a dual. Also take in some more schools to our duals. Our dual season is usually January and December. If interested , please contact Jason at jdemien@wanee.org I also have information about how I ran our duals and would be more than happy to share that with you.

    Team Indiana is headed to Tennessee to compete in the AAU ELEMENTARY National duals on April 16-18th. Wrestlers need to be in 5th grade and below and born in 1998 or after. If you are interested, please send an e-mail to Jason DeMien at jdemien@wanee.org
