Yes and I am in the County Command Center and we have all trucks out plowing at 10:00 pm. We will be here till its done ( well most of them - at least one will leave at sunup - get some rest and be at the sectional cheering his sons team on)

Thats right Ill be in one of those command centers directing the Plow Trucks, we have enough know it alls out there; then if the busses full of wrestlers (and my son is one of those) delay then all we not have the need to pull those buses out of a Ditch or have several wrestlers get hurt and destroy their chance to battle on the mat for the right to be a champion SAFE ROADS leads to Better competitionand a great day Better safe than sorry!! I aplaude all the AD.s that decided this with common sense!!!

I see Reitz winning also but remember they beat MD by 7 last saturday and embarrased the Cats at home there is room there for upsets and a possible flip flop. just depends on how bad the teams wants it and overconfidence or lack there of. it all depends as to those wrestlers that " Wrestle above thier heads and win because they dont know they are supposed to lose"

Gee and they wonder why their circulation is down???? maybe if they added the details Circulation would go Up? otherwise they are about a newscast behind the tv stations.

I sure wish someone from the EVSC would get their Act together and send in the Evansville bracket. sure would be nice to be aboe to argue who is going to beat who instead of just guessing.

I say it is all ir-elephant until we see the brackets posted and we know who is wrestling who, and in what round. so throw your best darts and make your best guess; until then.

Your right. My son was in a JV Tournament tonight he was 2-1 in matches and wrestling for 3rd. He was down 4-1, he was gassed, but the 3rd period was starting. He tries hard he has alot of heart for he is only in his 2nd year of wrestling; he comes back gets a 5-4 lead, and with 25 seconds PINS his opponent. so dont say Heart isnt anything! it is alot , it gives you the stamina to finish, to give it your best shot! Some call it a gut check, its the same thing. Heart will give you that last shot of energy to finish and do your best.

IMO its going to come down to what teamn wants it more and teh guys who wrestle their hearts oout for 2nd and 3rd. if you look almost every one has the top 3 taking 3 classes each so its gooing to be the others who decide which team is the best.

Next year should be up ontop of the hill. I was hoping that it wouldnt take that long to wake up -- I hope 9 days of hard practice is more than enough motivation. I kjust feel bad for the JV they worked hard - won - and will take the brunt of the frustration from the varsity.

After all you wont make a living out of high school/ or go to college having a 1.5 GPA and 2 or 3 state titles. BUT the biggest problem is Being King of the Hill you have a target on your back and you get EVERY teams best; week in and week out. The Coaches are working hard , the wrestlers are giving it their all, maybe sometimes a SCHOOL needs a WAKE UP CALL. If you win all the time it is expected to be the norm and no one gives it a second thought till you lose. IMO

if you can drink a Double there the Ski is probably on the other side of the cooler! Me I wont have time to eat till after the Match my wrestler is on the JV team. so ........... not sure whats on the menu that nite. probably the King to go. I got coupons for Stroms!!!! along with a cold B.L. in the frig. then I can eat and watch the rematch on the computer.see you there Hook.

I dont think so but Stans will be open if you want a pizza and Double Cola before the match; or Pizza King if you want the beer.

Tonights Evansville Freshman invitational will be an interesting preview to the Evansville JV Invitational in 2 weeks. whats Evansville got coming up over the next couple of years???
