Evansville Semi State Rankings (Final With Placements!!)

Bowman from FR was originally #12 I think @ 160 in the pre-season rankings, but he moved to 152 & fell off. He was an Evansville SSQ last yr @ 140 & lost to Raben MD in OT. Franklin hasn't wrestled any matches yet this year. First dual is tomorrow night @ Columbus North, then our Super 6 on 12/4, where he should see #3 Johnson PM & #16 Spencer PIKE. Some wins from last yr include Rattay LN, Chamberlain EC or EM, & Irick HSE. It's early, but I would think he should at least be in the top 8 here. -

My oldest son attends UIndy as a Sports Management major, and he told me that IHSAA Assistant Commissioner, Theresia Wynns was a guest speaker in his Governance in Sports class today. I know that she's not in charge of wrestling, but he said the question about Team State was proposed to her, and her response was that this will probably be the last year for it. I personally hope that's not the case. I just thought it was interesting that this subject is not only being discussed amongst the high school wrestling community, but it is also a topic of discussion at the college level.
