  1. Absolutely. I'm very excited. Thank you.
  2. http://uvcmma.blogspot.com/2012/06/zachrich-kraus-and-palmer-washington-co.html
  3. I wish I could just leave the back door propped....I'll know more about tickets soon and I'll post on here. BTW I have a new phone and none of my contacts unless they synced from facebook, twitter, etc...text me.
  4. AUGUST 4TH IN COLUMBUS, OHIO I WILL BE THE CO MAIN EVENT VS. LUKE ZACHRICH WHO IS A FORMER UFC TUF VET AND BELLATOR VET. ALSO IN THE OTHER CO MAIN EVENT IS LANCE PALMER, FORMER NATIONAL RUNNER UP FROM OHIO STATE....SHOULD BE A GREAT NIGHT!
  5. Here you go! This is the first fight between the two. Furar won by split decision. Darby won the 2nd go round.
  6. http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=ricky+furar&oq=ricky+furar&aq=f&aqi=g1&aql=&gs_l=youtube.3..0.12023.14059.0.14683.13.11.1.1.1.0.157.1129.6j5.11.0...0.0.-BRCHQP0HFw I hope this works. He is not fighting very good fighters here. I'll see what I can do to get a better video of him against a type fighter, such as Darby Halferty.
  7. I'm not friends with Furar or anything like that, I just went to Trine, which is in Angola, and my teammate, Darby Halferty is 1-1 against Furar.
  8. Furar is 6-1 on the internet. He has had way more fights than that, but he has only suffered one defeat. Furar is cocky, but if you don't enter a fight with a little bit of "swagger" you might be in trouble. When he fights he doesn't showboat in the cage, he is just an unorthodox fighter IMO. He went to Angola by the way.
  9. I will be fighting Mojo Horne AKA Billy "Mojo" Horne. Horne is listed as 10-4 pro on sherdog, but 8-4 on mma.tv...I am assuming he had 2 "unsanctioned" professional bouts. Horne used to train with Jorge Gurgel and was also a prime training partner for Rich Franklin for a while. He has notable wins over WEC vet Brendan Seguin and Strikeforce vet Roger Bolling(although he beat Bolling as an amateur in 06) This is exciting for me and I'm looking forward to this fight. I'll post video and results asap regardless of the quality or lack of quality performance.
  10. I don't think it is disrespectful to say that Sliga or Berry would have won 220. I think they might have won that weight as well. I think Sliga would have won 182(if he made the weight), 195, 220, and heavyweight...imo
  11. Right on! In college at our regional qualifying tournament we wrestled true 2nds. That helps the coaches to select a wildcard for the national tournament. The true 2nd match is VERY TOUGH to wrestle. For example, my sophomore year I lost in the finals and the guy who placed 3rd had not seen me yet, so he challenged me to a true 2nd place match. (I won by major) My junior year I lost in the semi's to the national runner-up, but I wrestled back to place 3rd. I had not seen the runner up so I challenged him to a true 2nd. (lost that one) My senior year I lost in the finals and the kid who placed 3rd I had not seen yet. He challenged me to a true 2nd place match and I pinned that kid, which in turn helped me to earn a wild card. I don't know what good it would do in high school, but it is a nice hypothetical thing to look at.
  12. Yes a little, but also after watching Lee wrestle Micic and watching Boston wrestle Miller, I think it's a possibility
  13. Lee over Boston James over Phillips Todd over Campbell Forte over Batt Griffin over Farrell Kriech over McCloskey Gallegos and Robinson toss up
  14. It was a a traditional cradle that Oudhuis was stuck with. Biddle sort of caught Samuels in a peterson/"LEGENDARY" reverse cradle fall
  15. Crume! Go Jimmies! Yes, I'm from New Prairie originally
  16. I was never a huge HC fan I guess because they came into our regional in high school and we had some rivalries, but I have to give credit where it's due...Petrov has worked hard and looked great. I'll take Petrov this year. Both kids are tough!
  17. That was awesome. I actually went to Glazier Clinics in Chicago last weekend because I also coach football. One of our speakers talked about this quite a bit. Thank you.
  18. understood...push ups and sit ups make a huge difference though...dan gable used to take a deck of cards and flip one card at a time...if the card said 2 he'd do push ups...if it said 10 he'd do 10 push ups and i think the face cards were jack=11 pushups queen =12 pushups king=13 pushups and maybe the ace was 15pushups...he would go through the whole deck-
  19. Does this have something to do with Lynn's physique while at Uindy? He was a study and Indy was a rival of ours when at Trine.
  20. Awesome replies guys. I teach APC (Advanced Physical Conditioning) at the school I teach at and I use many of these techniques, but I'll definitely add in some of these other ideas. Cosgrove, if you are willing to private message me some of your tricks I think that some of our guys would be willing to follow up with these. They can look at your credentials and you would be a good role model for some of these athletes. I know personally that I weight train constantly and it helps me tremendously in MMA.
  21. The little girl does have an amazing stance.
  22. I'll admit during high school wrestling I didn't lift much, but I lifted during baseball and football seasons. In college is where I really started lifting also.
  23. Cosgrove...you placed in the top 4 all four years correct? Winning a title once? I'm trying to prove a point to some athletes at our school.
