We are in the process of finalizing this year's Cadet National Dual Team that will compete in York, PA June 13-18. There is also a training camp prior to our departure date at Lawrence North HS June 10-12. Currently we are still looking to fill a few weights. Team Indiana National Training Camp July 10th – 12th 2015 Indiana Tech 1600 E. Washington Blvd. Fort Wayne IN 46803 In order to prepare for the Freestyle/Greco national championships in Fargo, ND, Team Indiana will be having a national team training camp prior to the trip. This camp is for all Team Indiana members heading to Fargo. Wrestlers will have the opportunity to learn from some of the best technicians around, and be in the company of the national team coaching staff. This is a great opportunity to train with the best in preparation for the best wrestling tournament in the country. Campers will be staying in the Indiana Tech dorm rooms, and will be eating in the campus cafeteria for the weekend. When arriving, campers will check in at the Warrior Row C dormitory. Wrestlers need to have gear for approximately 7 workouts over the weekend. At the end of camp, campers will check out and receive their Team Indiana gear. Wrestlers going with Team Indiana, You should have received an email this past weekend, if not here is some more information for you. Here is the schedule of events. Thursday, April 3rd The bus will depart from the ISWA office at NOON, on Thursday. Please plan to arrive 1 hour before hand to check in with the staff. The address for the office is, 5715 Churchman Ave,Suite L Indianapolis, IN 46203 It is around the corner from Beech Grove High School. This will be the same location to pick up your child on Sunday, April 6th. Thursday night we will arrive at our hotel, The Days in at 5924 University Ave in Cedar Falls Iowa. We will check in and be assigned to rooms at that time. Friday, April 4th-Saturday, April 5th Wrestling starts Friday. We will head back to the dome Saturday to finish up the wrestling competition. After the tournament is over we will go out for a team dinner and visit the Dan Gable wrestling museum. Sunday, April 6th We will wake up and head back to Indiana. We will arrive back approximately 2:00pm Sunday afternoon. We will tell all wrestlers to call their parents 3 hours before we arrive. The Team Indiana Folkstyle Nationals trip for cadets and juniors is right around the corner. If interested in going please go online to ISWA link below and fill out the registration forms for this tournament and send them as soon as possible. This trip is first come first serve and spots fill up very quickly. This is a great trip for a very affordable price. Trip includes transportation, lodging, gear, tournament registration, a team meal, and a trip to the Dan Gable wrestling museum. This trip is on a FIRST COME - FIRST SERVE BASIS. A wrestler need only participate in the ISWA Folkstyle State Finals on March 15-16, 2014 at Warren Central High School in Indianapolis, Indiana. By participating in this event (and submitting the attached paperwork and trip fee), you are qualified to be on this trip.
