Thanks guys for the attempt. I appreciate what you guys do, but it's time to upgrade the equipment. Mats one, two, and four announcers good, mat three didn't say much. Video feed was either down or a slide show all day. Whoever did the finals, they were outstanding.

I'm certainly not trying to be mean or cause any issues on the corrections to the rankings, but all you need to do on this one is look. It's pretty self explanitory. I'll stop now with the suggestions. Just trying to help. Thanks for doing the rankings.

CG was without 5 or 6 of their starters. Not sure why? I need to once again say congrats to a very small school (yes 600 is a very small school compared to whom they compete against in the surrounding area) for having 3 in the State Finals. I think this will clearly be a statement from this school to be remembered. Cudos !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh, and by the way my kids go to Franklin so no bias here.

Cudos to Indian Creek for sending 5 to Conseco including 3 Semi State Champs. This is a very small school that could hardly field half a team last year. Whats in the water down there? Nice job!

It looks like Sims lost twice at the Regional. I can understand the first, but why did he lose in the 3rd place match to Garnett? I believe Hessman has an excellent shot at moving on. Mappes now has Garnett in his first round instead of Sims because he lost to Hessman. So it actually doesn't matter too much. They are both tough opponents and either way Hessman and Mappes are both going to need to be on their game.

Cudos on CG and Franklin for both taking 9 to Evansville. Realistically speaking, I've got 5 each that have good shot at Conseco. 103 Michael Thomas CG. Serious threat if he keeps his focus. 103 Lykins Franklin. Should be there. 112 Schoettle CG. Should be there. 119 Charmichael CG. Should be there. 130 Petrole Franklin. Good shot. 140 Dewees Franklin. Good ticket round match with Lannert. 152 Bowman Franklin. Good ticket round match with Horrocks. 160 Mappes CG. Good ticket round match with Holt. 160 Hessman Franklin. Good shot. 171 Warner CG. First round match with Warren should be exciting.

Franklin over Center Grove for the Sectional title. Nice recovery after losing 3 good wrestlers earlier this season and losing to CG in head to head competition.

Not that you don't have a point here about Yorktowns academics, but you missed the WHOLE REAL point of this thread. The kid can't wrestle the remainder of the season for Franklin, and now suddenly he is wrestling for Yorktown one week before the sectionals. Did the Yorktown coach throw out ethics and loyalty for wins? I believe that is the message I got from the very first post.

Do I understand this right? A Franklin wrestler is booted from the team for disciplinary actions and then enrolls at Yorktown because he can't wrestle anymore at Franklin. Now Yorktown along with IHSAA is allowing this kid to participate? WOW. I will say, if this is all on the up and up, and there are no competition violations, then wrestling is no different than all the other sports and the better kid gets the spot.
