  1. Yes, the team voting was alluded to in the original post, as well as, mentioned at the start of the voting page.
  2. Arajau is currently listed at 126 and N. Lee at 138, so they would both have to shift a weight class for that one to occur. As of now there is no official match set at Who's #1 for 126-138, and Willie at Flo likes to ensure the WNO matches reflect where the wrestlers will realistically be competing at for the upcoming HS season. So we will see how it pans out in a few months. But honestly even though Arajau is a stud, Yianni over the last year has been knocking on the door of being the nations top HS wrestler, and I'd really like to see how Lee wrestles him.
  3. Yianni Diakomihalis out of NY. He's #2 on P4P and Cadet World Champion. If he and Nick both commit to 138 they will likely face each other at Who's #1.
  4. Nick Lee is also #13 on the Pound for Pound list.
  5. He already has taken a redshirt year during his freshman season. Tsirtsis only has one year of eligibility remaining.
  6. As Y2CJ already mentioned, if he is going to finish his degree and compete then NW is not going to give him a release to a Big10 school. He will be going where the Big10 schools only have to worry about him at most a couple times a year.
  7. https://mobile.twitter.com/hagertony/status/760200752253968385 Wonder where he could be heading to finish up his last year of eligibility? Sounds like he will continue to wrestle someplace, as people are saying he's at least looked into a two programs. Northern Iowa and Iowa State.
  8. http://www.nbcolympics.com/news/vote-who-should-carry-us-flag-opening-ceremony It's more of a suggestion of athletes for the Olympic team to think about than the final decision, but still worth getting his name in the mix for consideration. He is currently in 2nd just edging out Michael Phelps, but behind an equestrian rider. Here is a nice JB video from the site to help you with your decision. http://www.nbcolympics.com/video/jordan-burroughs-life-bigger-wrestling-mat
  9. Has anyone looked at the new Westfiled Grand Park Event Center or the Johnathan Byrd Fieldhouse (if basketballs not already there) as a possible location for a future Team Stare events? Seems like either of those building would have enough mat space plus spectator area (not sure on bleachers) to have everything all in the same building.
  10. I'll just pencil him in at 285.
  11. Well you can at least see the outside trip that won Lee the title as the #10 highlight on Flo's Fargo edition of "The Dirt." http://www.flowrestling.org/video/986370-the-dirt-top-moments-from-fargo
  12. Those awards actually came out in April. But, it's worth a reminder of some of the accolades our our going Senior class reciever.
  13. Great run through a deep Fargo weight class. http://www.flowrestling.org/article/44033-flowrestler-of-the-week-nick-lee-in Purdue recruit Griffin Parriott also got consideration for his Fargo run.
  14. Indiana Freestyle Juniors finish 13th
  15. Storr put on a heck of a tournament and keep it very interesting with Lee. Hats off to that kid he definitely shows why he made the finals in such a tough bracket. The Iowa States Cyclones recruiting class, which Storr is a part, represented very well in the Junior division.
  16. Cadet Men's Freestyle Final AA Results 182 L. Davison Runner-Up 195 E. Pokorney 4th 220 K. Cornwell 8th Indiana 15th Junior Men's Freestyle Day 3 AA Matches 126 P. Konrath 1st/2nd vs Austin Gomez IL 138 N. Lee 1st/2nd vs Kanan Storr MI 195 A. Davison 7th/8th vs Sam Grove ND Indiana currently in 13th
  17. I was wondering the same thing. Thanks for the updated guys.
  18. Lucas Davison (Chesterton) Cadet 182 Freestyle Runner-Up He earned two All American honors on this Fargo trip. Nice week for this young man. His team mate is up next and brother will be up tomorrow to add more to the Chesterton collection. (My wife seems to think I need to go to my sisters diaper for beverage party for our nephew so someone else may need to cover the rest of the nights results. I am reluctantly going under the pretext he becomes a wrestler)
  19. Indiana's Cadet Placement matches starting soon if you have FloPro. 170 about to begin a a then: 182 L. Davison 1st/2nd Mat 1 195 E. Pokorney 3rd/4th Mat 3 220 K. Cornwell 7th/8th. Mat 7
  20. Junior Men's Freestyle After the morning session Championship Round Semi-Finals 126 P. Konrath vs Zach Sherman of NJ Sherman is ranked 11th by Flo and AAed last year at Cadet. If he gets passed him he will likely have Austin Gomez of IL who is ranked 2nd and a returning AA. 132 N. Lee vs Mitch McKee of MN. A future Minnisota Golden Gopher has a long list of national accomplishments. If Lee gets past McKee it probably doesn't matter who he has in the finally. Consols with one win to AA 182 J. Gray 195 A. Davison Looks like J. Lee has injury defaulted his consol match. Unfortunate result since he was one win away from AA and if not for the accident he had a good shot at making the finals. Anyone have word on his injury? Cadet placement rounds coming up in a few hours followed by Junior Semi- Finals.
  21. If your looking for an alternative wrestler to support for the 152 title now that Joe Lee is out of the title hunt, may I suggest Griffin Parriott of MN. He will be wrestling in college for the Purdue Boilermakers.
  22. Thanks for putting up the updates guys. I've been busy all morning and haven't been able to keep up on the action.
  23. Cadet Men's Freestyle Fridays All American placement matches 182 L. Davison 1st/2nd 195 E. Pokorney 3rd/4th 220 K. Cornwell 7th/8th Junior Men's Freestyle Still alive for Friday - Day 2 Championship Round 126 P. Konrath 138 N. Lee 152 J. Lee 182 J. Gray 195 A. Davison 285 E. Ellis 285 J. Rhoades Consols 138 B. Black 152 D. Lemley 160 G. Mappes
  24. Cadet Men's Freestyle Day 2 Still remaining in early afternoon Championship Bracket 182 Lucas Davison Semi-Finals 195 Eli Pokorney Semi-Finals Consols 170 Kameron Fuller - One win away from AA placement 220 Kyle Cornwell - One win away from AA placement Also 88 Alex Cottey - Just went out, one match way from AA status.
